A Celebration of Faith, Beauty, and Marian Devotion

Last Sunday, May 31, the community of Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Pagalanggang came together for a beautiful Santa Cruzan, a solemn procession honoring the finding of the True Cross by Saint Helena and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Flowers filled the streets. Candles lit the evening. And our lovely sagalas and consorts walked with grace, humility, and joy.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, prayed, and celebrated with us. Your devotion made this day truly special.

Reyna Elena – Honoring the Representative of the Mother Butlers

Last Sunday, May 31, the Santa Cruzan at Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Pagalanggang proudly presented its Reyna Elena, represented by a cherished member of the Mother Butlers of our parish.

In Santa Cruzan tradition, Reyna Elena holds a special place of honor. She represents Saint Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine, who famously discovered the True Cross in Jerusalem. Her role is not just one of beauty, but of faith, courage, and maternal devotion.

Our Reyna Elena, coming from the Mother Butlers, a group of dedicated women who serve our parish with love and humility, carried herself with grace and dignity. She reminded us that every mother is a queen, and every queen points us closer to the Holy Cross and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Blessing of the Virgin Mary and the Flower Offering of the Queens

Last Sunday, May 31, the Santa Cruzan celebration at Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Pagalanggang reached its most sacred moment, the blessing of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the flower offering of our beautiful queens.

One by one, our sagalas and queens approached Mama Mary with hearts full of devotion. Each flower laid at her feet was a prayer whispered. Each bow was an act of love. Each smile was a reflection of her grace.

Before the procession began, the image of our Blessed Mother was blessed, a solemn reminder that she watches over our parish, our families, and our faith.

Thank you to all the queens who offered not just flowers, but their hearts to Mama Mary.

The Santa Cruzan Procession – A Walk of Faith 🕯️🌸

Last Sunday, May 31, the faithful of Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Pagalanggang came together for the most awaited moment of our celebration — the Santa Cruzan procession.

With candles in hand and flowers offered to the Blessed Mother, our sagalas, consorts, and devotees walked the streets of Pagalanggang in solemn prayer. Each step was a devotion. Each flower was a love offering. Each silent prayer was lifted to heaven.

We honor the finding of the True Cross by Saint Helena and the unwavering faith of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
