As we begin a new chapter of grace, this First Sunday of the Year invites us to root ourselves once more in prayer and unwavering faith.

The New Year has arrived with new hopes, new challenges, and new opportunities to grow closer to God.

Let us start this year not with fear, but with trust; not with haste, but with prayer. May our hearts remain steadfast, our faith unshaken, and our lives anchored in God’s will—today and in all the days of 2026.

As we gather in worship, may this first Sunday remind us that when we place God at the center, every beginning becomes a blessing.

“IT IS IN THE DARKEST MOMENTS OF OUR LIVES THAT WE SHOULD SEEK THE LIGHT.”

These words from Rev. Fr. Jayson Gonzales, OP, touched the hearts of every pilgrim this morning. We all go through hard times, moments when we feel lost, broken, or alone. But today, we are reminded that even in those times, God is with us. His light never leaves, even when life feels full of darkness.

Many pilgrims came here carrying heavy hearts, silent problems, and fears about what’s ahead. But this message gives us hope: we are not alone. God walks with us in every tear, every pain, and every quiet prayer. He is the light that can brighten even the darkest night.

As we move forward in this journey, let us hold on to that light together. Let us support each other and remind one another that even when things seem hopeless, Jesus is our hope. Pilgrims, don’t give up, because His light is with you, and He will never leave you.

The Immaculate Conception Parish Youth Ministry with 35 passionate participants is officially all set for the 18th Diocesan Youth Congress 2025! 🙏
With hearts on fire and spirits ready to serve, we eagerly look forward to this blessed gathering of young people from across the diocese. 💙

We are excited to take part in the upcoming Diocesan Youth Congress. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we are ready to listen, to share, and to grow together as one family of faith.

As we journey to 18th DYC 2025, we carry with us the joy of being young, the courage to live out our faith, and the hope to inspire others. Truly, this is our time to rise, shine, and be witnesses of God’s unending love. ✨
