𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Jesus comes to His disciples and brings them peace in the midst of their fear and uncertainty. He calls them to have faith, even when doubts remain, as shown in the experience of Thomas the Apostle. Through their encounter with Him, their faith grows stronger and deeper.

This faith invites us to trust God beyond what our eyes can see and our minds can fully understand. It becomes the foundation of our lives, guiding our thoughts, actions, and hopes. True belief is not only about seeing proof, but about opening and surrendering our hearts completely to God.

Lord, strengthen our faith whenever we struggle with doubt. Teach us to rely on Your presence and remain steadfast in Your promises. May our trust in You lead us toward the life and purpose You have prepared for us. Amen.

𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 | 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 | 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord — commemorating the glorious moment when our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ, ascended into Heaven before His disciples, opening for us the way to eternal life and inviting us to set our hearts on heavenly things — we warmly invite all the faithful to come together in prayer and in the Holy Eucharist as one community of believers.

May this sacred solemnity inspire us to grow deeper in faith, strengthen our hope, and faithfully continue the mission that Christ has entrusted to His Church.

𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 | 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟒: 𝟏𝟓-𝟐𝟏

In today’s Gospel, Jesus says:
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”

These words remind us that Christian life is rooted not merely in obligation, but in love. Jesus does not force anyone to follow Him. Instead, He invites us into a relationship where obedience flows naturally from love.

When we truly love someone, sacrifice becomes easier. A mother sacrifices sleep for her child because of love. Friends remain loyal because of love. In the same way, when we genuinely love Jesus, prayer is no longer just a duty, attending Mass is no longer mere routine, and doing good is no longer simply compliance with rules. Love transforms obligation into willingness.

Jesus also promises His disciples that He will not leave them alone. He says that the Father will send the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who will remain with them forever. In moments when faith becomes difficult, when we feel weak, confused, or distant from God, the Holy Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and remind us that we belong to Christ.

Many people lose their zeal in faith not because they hate God, but because their relationship with Him becomes cold. We can know prayers by memory and still forget to speak to God sincerely. We can be physically present in worship yet spiritually distracted. Today, Jesus calls us back to a loving relationship with Him.

Faith is not only about following commandments. It is about loving the One who first loved us. And when love is real, obedience follows naturally.

May we ask the Lord today for the grace not only to know Him, but to truly love Him with all our heart.

- Today gospel calls us to place our trust in Jesus, who lovingly prepares a place for us in the Father’s house. He reassures us, ❞𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒅… I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Through Him, we are guided to the Father, where we discover hope, peace, and direction even amid life’s uncertainties.

Sa dihang unang nagpakita si Jesus sa iyang mga tinun-an, gihatagan niya sila sa iyang presensya, kalinaw, buluhaton, ug ang Espiritu Santo—nagpalig-on sa ilang pagtuo, nagbag-o sa ilang kalipay, ug naghatag kanila og kusog batok sa sala ug kasubo.

Kining mga gasa dili lang para nila, apan para usab nato karon, kon atong ablihan ang atong mga kasingkasing ug isulti uban ni Tomas ang Apostol, “Ginoo ug akong Dios!”

Sa niini nga kapistahan sa Divine Mercy, atong hinumduman ang walay kataposang gugma ni Cristo alang sa mga makasasala. Kitang tanan nanginahanglan sa iyang pasaylo—ug kitang tanan gitawag aron magbahinbahin sa iyang kalooy sa uban.

As we joyfully commemorate the Resurrection of Christ. This most holy celebration affirms Jesus’ victory over sin and death, bringing renewed hope, life, and renewal to all.

As we come together in worship, we are reminded that the empty tomb symbolizes God's unwavering love and faithfulness. Easter invites us to live out the Risen Christ—renewed in faith, strengthened by hope, and inspired to bring light to others’ lives.

We encouraged to join in the Eucharistic celebrations to celebrate this glorious feast with hearts filled with gratitude and joy.

Niining Adlawa, atong gisaulog ang pagkamatay ug pagkabanhaw ni Kristo, usa ka simbolo sa paglaum ug pagbag-o. Ang kalayo maoy simbolo sa pagsulay ug pagpaubos sa kaugalingon, samtang ang tubig maoy simbolo sa pagputli ug pagbag-o. Hinaut nga mahatagan kita niini og higayon sa pagpamalandong ug pagpangayo og pasaylo sa atong mga sala. Magpabilin kita nga lig-on sa atong pagtuo ug magpadayon sa paglaum sa grasya sa Ginoo.

On this sacred occasion of Good Friday, we warmly invite all believers to unite in prayerful contemplation of the Seven Last Words of Jesus from the Cross—His final expressions of love, mercy, and salvation.
Let us come together as a community to meditate on His Passion and deepen our appreciation of His profound sacrifice for us. Each of His words will be thoughtfully reflected upon by different speakers, providing meaningful insights and inspiration for our spiritual growth.
May this solemn gathering guide us toward repentance, strengthen our faith, and draw us nearer to Christ’s boundless love.
