Usa ka dakung Grasya ug panalangin ang malampusong pag hiusa sa 34 ka magtiayon.

Ang kaminyoon sa simbahan dili lamang usa ka seremonya o legal na kasabotan. Kini usa ka sagradong pakigsaad diin ang lalaki ug babaye nagtugyan sa ilang kinabuhi ngadto sa Diyos ug misaad nga maghigugmaay, magtinabangay, magpinasayloay, ug magpabilin nga matinud-anon sa tanang panahon og kahimtang. Sa Sakramento sa Matrimonya, si Kristo mismo ang mahimong sentro sa ilang pamilya.

Hinaot nga ang 34 ka magtiayon mahimong saksi nga ang gugma ni nga nakagamot diha kang Kristo makahimo sa pagtukod og lig-on nga pamilya, usa ka balaan nga panimalay, ug usa ka komunidad nga puno sa pagtuo ug gugma.

DIGOS CITY — August 22, 2026. The Mary Mediatrix of All Grace Cathedral in Digos City celebrated its 75th Patronal Fiesta today with a 9:30 a.m. Eucharistic celebration presided over by Most Rev. Guillermo D. Afable, D.D.

Anchored on the Gospel of John 2:1–11, Bishop Afable reflected on “𝐀𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦” — 𝐓𝐨 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲, emphasizing Mary’s role in leading the faithful closer to her Son.

In his homily, Bishop Afable recalled the history of the devotion to Mary Mediatrix of All Grace, which has been journeying with the people of Digos since 1951. He noted that what was rejected in Lipa eventually found a home in Digos, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

He also highlighted Digos’ connection with Mary, noting that the city was formally established on September 8, 1980, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Amid today’s global challenges, Bishop Afable emphasized Mary’s call for 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, encouraging the faithful to pray the Rosary, turn away from sin, and remain faithful to God’s will.

As the Cathedral marks 75 years of devotion, the faithful are reminded of its enduring mission: to journey with Mary toward Jesus.
