We thank the Lord for the wisdom shared, the hearts encouraged, and the renewed passion to serve His people with excellence, humility, and love.

🤍✨ Last Sunday — Terrible People, Terrible Times

Earlier today, we were reminded that even in a world filled with darkness, cruelty, and uncertainty, God still calls us to stand firm in faith and walk in His truth. ✝️🌿

Difficult times may test our hearts, but they also reveal the importance of grace, wisdom, and remaining anchored in Christ. When the world feels heavy, His presence becomes our peace and our strength.

Thank you for spending this Sunday with us in worship and reflection. May we continue to choose love, faith, and righteousness no matter the season we face. 🙏🤍

𝚃𝙴𝚁𝚁𝙸𝙱𝙻𝙴 𝙿𝙴𝙾𝙿𝙻𝙴, 𝚃𝙴𝚁𝚁𝙸𝙱𝙻𝙴 𝚃𝙸𝙼𝙴𝚂
📖 𝟸 𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚢 𝟹:𝟷–𝟻
𝙿𝚝𝚛. 𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚒𝚜 𝚁𝚢𝚊𝚗 𝙿𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚗

In these difficult times, Scripture reminds us that the greatest problem is not merely what is happening around us—but what is happening within people’s hearts.

🔹 𝐈. People are lovers of themselves (v.2)
Self-centeredness pulls us away from Christ and leads us to follow our own desires rather than God’s will. A heart focused on self loses peace and becomes hardened toward God.
📖 “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” – Luke 9:23

🔹 𝐈𝐈. People are not lovers of good (v.3)
We live in a time where good is called evil and evil is celebrated as good. God calls us to stand for truth even when culture says otherwise.
📖 Isaiah 5:20 | Romans 1:32

🔹 𝐈𝐈𝐈. People are lovers of pleasure (v.4)
When worldly desires take the place of God, our hearts slowly drift away from Him. Temporary pleasures can never replace eternal joy found in Christ.
📖 1 John 2:15–16

🔹 𝐈𝐕. People are outwardly godly but without power (v.5)
Faith is not merely an outward appearance. God desires transformed hearts, not just religious actions.
📖 “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” – Matthew 15:8

Terrible times reveal the condition of people’s hearts. The answer is not found in the world—but in genuine surrender and transformation through Christ. 🙌

What a beautiful Sunday celebration in the presence of the Lord! 🙌 From heartfelt worship, joyful fellowship, and powerful moments in God’s Word, we were once again reminded that every gathering is an opportunity to encounter His goodness and grace.

This Sunday, we were challenged through the message, “𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬” from 𝟮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝟯:𝟭–𝟱. In a world filled with self-love, worldly pleasures, and outward appearances, we were reminded that God is not simply looking for religious acts—He is seeking hearts that are fully surrendered and transformed by Him.

Together we lifted our praises, strengthened one another in faith, and celebrated the faithfulness of God in our lives. Sundays are more than a routine—they are a reminder that God is moving, speaking, and transforming hearts.

“Let us not give up meeting together… but encourage one another.” — Hebrews 10:25

🛡️God sees a mighty warrior in you even when you only see fear and weakness. Most of the time, we disqualify ourselves before God even begins to use us.

When Israel was impoverished and powerless due to their own disobedience, God moved through Gideon who was a fearful farmer hiding in a winepress. And when God called Gideon, he felt unqualified, fearful, and weak. Even after responding with a willing heart, he still struggled with doubt.

Like Gideon, many of us walk through seasons where we feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and inadequate. We wonder if we are truly capable of the responsibilities and challenges that God called us to face.

But God is not after perfect people who can rely on their own strength. He calls people with limitations, insecurities, and fears. He sees the potential in you because He is the One who qualifies those He calls for His greater purpose.🙌

📖“𝙈𝙮 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙈𝙮 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

Before God gave Gideon public victory, He first dealt with him privately. Before God uses us mightily, He must first be magnified in our personal lives. What competes with God in our hearts must come down first.

🌟God’s beautiful promise is this: If God calls you, He will also be with you. He will strengthen you, sustain you, and equip you for every battle He asks you to face.

So be encouraged to step out in faith and obey God’s call. Trust that God is greater than your weaknesses. For the same God who transformed Gideon into a mighty warrior continues to work in your life too - more mightily than you could ever imagine!🔥

“They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." — Mark 16:18

Sometimes, a listening ear is the first step to healing, but united prayer is where the power moves.

This week, our pastoral care team visited those facing sickness. We didn't just sit with them; we stood in faith, laid hands on them, and prayed together. There is undeniable authority and healing power when the body of Christ unites in prayer! 🔥🙏

God delights in using ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. Never think you are too weak for God to use. When He calls you to do His work, He will also be with you and He will equip you.
