This is the season God is calling us into. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This past weekend, we gathered for our Sectional Youth Fellowship: WHO I AM, choosing to shut out the world's noise and listen to what Heaven says about us instead. (1 John 3:1-3)

We are seen, known, and loved by our Father, and that changes everything.

But it wasn't just deep talks, we also had so much fun together! From worship to laughter to teams performing and showing off some real talent.

Grateful for every soul that showed up, and even more grateful for the fun we shared along the way. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our Young Adult Ministries gathered for a meaningful time of fellowship, joined by young adults from our BCC daughter churches.

With the theme โ€œUNCOMPROMISED: Living with Conviction in a Compromising World,โ€ we were reminded of what it means to live with conviction, to know who we belong to, to stand firm in what we believe, to remain faithful when our convictions are tested, and to allow God to use our lives to influence others.

May we carry this conviction beyond our fellowship and into our everyday lives, standing firm for God and letting others see Jesus through us.

UNCOMPROMISED.
Not because we are strong, but because Christ is worth it. ๐Ÿค

๐š๐šŽ๐šŸ. ๐™พ๐šœ๐šŒ๐šŠ๐š› ๐šƒ๐šž๐š•๐šŠ๐š—๐š, ๐™น๐š›.

Jesus calls us to be the salt of the earthโ€”a people who preserve what is good, influence those around us, and live in a way that reflects Christ.

But what does it mean to truly be the salt of the earth?

Last Sunday, we were reminded of six important ways we can preserve our Christian influence:

๐Ÿง‚ 1. PRESERVATION
We are called to protect and uphold what is right. In a world where righteousness is often compromised, believers are called to stand firm in truth.
๐Ÿ“– Proverbs 14:34

๐ŸŒ 2. PERMEATION
Our faith should influence others wherever God places us. Like salt that spreads and affects everything it touches, our Christian influence should reach beyond the church and into the lives of others.
๐Ÿ“– Acts 8:3โ€“4

โœจ 3. PURIFICATION
We must allow God to transform us rather than conforming to the ways of the world. A life that is continually renewed by God becomes a testimony of His grace and holiness.
๐Ÿ“– Romans 12:1โ€“2

๐Ÿ™ 4. PRESENTATION
Whatever happens, we are called to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ. Our words, actions, and character should reflect the One we follow.
๐Ÿ“– Philippians 1:27

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ 5. PREVENTION
Because we are a new creation in Christ, we must leave the old life behind. We cannot preserve our Christian influence while holding on to what God has called us to surrender.
๐Ÿ“– 2 Corinthians 5:17

๐Ÿ’ง 6. PROMOTION
Our influence should ultimately bring people closer to Christ. As we point others to Jesus, may our lives create a thirst for the Living Water that only He can give.

โ€œDonโ€™t lose your saltinessโ€”let your life make a difference for Christ.โ€ ๐Ÿง‚๐Ÿค

May we never allow the world to dilute our faith, compromise our convictions, or silence the influence God has called us to carry. Wherever He places us, may we preserve what is right, live transformed lives, and lead others closer to Jesus.

Yesterday, we gathered once again for worship, fellowship, and the life-changing truth of Godโ€™s Word. We were reminded through Matthew 5:13 that as followers of Christ, we are called to preserve our Christian influence in a world that is slowly losing its moral and spiritual foundations.

Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth. Salt preserves, seasons, and makes a difference. In the same way, our lives should carry the influence of Christ wherever we goโ€”within our homes, workplaces, schools, communities, and in every relationship we have.

May we never lose our saltiness. May we never allow the values of this world to dilute our faith, compromise our convictions, or silence the influence God has called us to carry. ๐Ÿง‚โœจ
