On this special day, we celebrate not only your birthday but also your dedication, commitment, and faithful service as the Secretary of the Isidorean Servers. Your hard work, patience, and willingness to serve are truly appreciated by the entire parish community.

As our secretary, you play an important role in keeping our group organized, connected, and united. Your responsibility, attentiveness, and willingness to help others show the true meaning of servant leadership. Through your service, you remind us that even in the simplest tasks, we can glorify God through our dedication and love.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us!

Today we celebrate the beautiful Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows (Sept 15). As we honor Our Lady, let’s remember to ask her to stand by us in our suffering and trials, and to take care of our loved ones in all of their sorrows. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us now and at the hour of our sorrows and death. Amen!

The feast commemorates the seven great sorrows which Mary lived in relation to Her Son, as found in the Gospels and Tradition.

1. At the prophecy of Simeon: "You yourself shall be pierced with a sword - so that the thoughts of many hearts may be laid bare." (Luke 2:35).
2. At the flight into Egypt; "Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt." (Mt 2:13).
3. Having lost the Holy Child at Jerusalem; "You see that your father and I have been searching for you in sorrow." (Luke 2:48).
4. Meeting Jesus on his way to Calvary;
5. Standing at the foot of the Cross; "Near the cross of Jesus there stood His mother." (John 19:25).
6. Jesus being taken from the Cross;
7. At the burial of Christ.

𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 05 | 𝑨𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

On September 5, 2026, we had our Aspirant Orientation for the Ministry of Altar Servers of San Isidro Labrador Parish, Digos City. It was a meaningful day where they learned more about being an altar server, the responsibilities, and most importantly, how we can serve God with a willing and humble heart.

It was also a great opportunity to meet new people, learn from each other, and spend time together as one ministry. This orientation marks the beginning of a new journey for our aspirants as they continue to learn and prepare for their service at the altar.

May we continue to grow in faith, discipline, friendship, and service. May God guide all our aspirants as they take this first step and may they always remember why they chose to serve. 🙏💚

Two years ago, we answered the call to serve—not knowing all the lessons, challenges, friendships, and blessings that awaited us.

Today, we celebrate 2 Years of Service with Batch 2024—a journey shaped by faith, strengthened by fellowship, and guided by our commitment to serve at the altar and in the Church.

Through every Mass, formation, celebration, and moment of service, we continue to grow not only as Altar Servers, but as young people striving to live out our faith.

May we continue to serve with humility in our hearts, joy in our service, and faith in every step we take.

✨ WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Dili lang ni about sa pagsul-ob og sotana ug surplice. It's about serving, learning, growing in faith, and becoming closer to God. 🤍

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• Open for boys ages 10 years old and above
• Must have already received the Sacrament of Holy Communion
• Must be a bonafide member of the parish
• Must be an active member in their GKK's
• Willing to learn and attend formations
• Most importantly, have the willingness to serve God as an Altar Server 🙏
