HAPPY 1ST SUNDAY OF OCTOBER!
What a wonderful blessing to gather once again in the house of the Lord! Our Sunday service was filled with worship, fellowship, and meaningful lessons from God's Word.
๐ MESSAGE OF THE DAY: DRESSING MODESTLY AS CHRISTIANS
Main Text: 1 Timothy 2:9

Our message reminded us that as Christians, the way we dress should reflect our love for God, our respect for others, and our commitment to living a godly life. While people often judge by outward appearance, God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Our clothing does not determine our salvation, but our choices can reflect the values and character we seek to develop as followers of Christ.
๐ 1. We dress properly because we love God.
Coming to church is an opportunity to worship and honor the Lord. Our clothing should be appropriate and show reverence for His presence. Going to church is not a fashion show, but neither should we treat it carelessly. We dress not merely to impress people but to honor the God we serve.
๐ค 2. We dress modestly because we love our brothers and sisters.
Modesty means choosing clothes that are decent, appropriate, and not unnecessarily revealing or showy. As Christians, we are encouraged to consider others and demonstrate love, humility, and respect through our choices.
๐ฟ 3. We dress decently because we are witnesses of God.
Our conduct and appearance can influence how others see our Christian faith. Just as Joseph prepared himself before appearing before Pharaoh (Genesis 41:14), we are reminded to present ourselves appropriately and carry ourselves with dignity. Let our lives reflect the goodness and character of Christ.
May we remember that true beauty is not merely about what we wear but also about the condition of our hearts. Let our outward appearance complement the godly character we cultivate within.
๐ SUNDAY SCHOOL: GOD'S UNEXPECTED BLESSINGS
Main Text: 1 Kings 17:8โ16

Through the story of Elijah and the widow of Zarephath, we learned three important truths:
โจ 1. Blessing requires obedience. When we follow God's instructions, we demonstrate our faith and trust in Him (Deuteronomy 28:1โ6).
โจ 2. Blessings multiply through sharing. Even when we have little, sharing what we have can become a means for God to bless and provide for others.
โจ 3. Blessings come in unexpected ways. God can provide for our needs through people and circumstances we least expect. Just as He sustained Elijah and the widow during the famine, He remains faithful to those who trust in Him.
As we welcome this new month, may we continue to live modestly, walk in obedience, share generously, and trust God's provision in every season of life.
