In the spirit of unity and servant leadership, the San Salvador del Mundo Diocesan Youth Apostolate held a two-day Parish Youth Leadership Formation Training on May 19โ20, 2026.
Youth leaders from different GKKs gathered to strengthen their faith, leadership, and commitment to serving the Church and the community.
The first day commenced with the arrival and registration of delegates, followed by the Welcome Program. Sessions on revisiting the qualities and roles of youth leaders, humanitarian aid and disaster preparedness reecho, and spiritual activities were facilitated by Ms. Norben Jean B. Torres, Sir Lory Joy Monday, and Sir Pepito P. Manuawan, respectively.
On the second day, participants actively joined the Zumba Dance and Team Building Activities that promoted camaraderie and teamwork among the youth. The fourth session on Servant Leadership was delivered by Sir Bernrence Escovilla, emphasizing humility and dedication in leadership.
Additionally, Parish Priest Fr. Roland Sayman delivered an inspirational talk and encouraged the delegates to continue becoming active and faithful young leaders of the Church.
The event concluded with the Closing Program and Awarding of the 20 Gold Palette Medals for the Youth Leadership and Excellence Awardโ"The Batang Leader Award,โ recognized by the JCI Philippines Mati City Chapter and initiated by JCI Mati Chapter President Bernrence Escovilla.
The celebration ended with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Rev. Fr. Roland Sayman, reminding the youth to remain steadfast as bearers of hope and servant leaders of todayโs generation.
