Why the Legion of Mary Rosary Begins Without the Apostles’ Creed

For many Catholics encountering the Legion for the first time, one detail often stands out:
the Rosary of the Legion of Mary does not begin with the Apostles’ Creed.
For the curious reader, this can feel puzzling.
For the candidate legionary, it can quietly raise the question: Is something missing?
In truth, nothing is missing. Something is being assumed.
🔥Faith Presumed, Not Repeated
The Apostles’ Creed is a magnificent prayer. It is the Church’s ancient profession of faith, and it rightly opens the traditional Rosary as a declaration of what we believe before we contemplate what we believe.
