𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝟐𝟓-𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬

Earlier today, Sunday School teachers and leaders from the Buhangin Stake gathered for a training on the upcoming 25-minute Sunday class, preparing for the changes that will begin in September.

Beginning the first week of September 2026,the Sunday class meeting schedule will change. These updates are meant to help members:
* Focus more on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
* Strengthen gospel learning at home.
* Increase fellowship, belonging, and community at church.

Here’s a quick overview:
• Sacrament Meeting: 60 minutes
• Sunday School: 25 minutes every week
• Relief Society, Elders Quorum, Young Women, and Aaronic Priesthood: 25 minutes every week
• Primary: 55 minutes

With these adjustments, teachers and members can be more intentional in using their time together on Sunday while continuing to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ. The shorter class period also provides an opportunity to connect gospel learning at church with learning and living the gospel at home.

As teachers prepare for this adjustment, may we make each 25-minute class meaningful by keeping the Savior at the center and creating opportunities for learners to feel the Spirit and strengthen their faith.
