Our Statement of Faith

Great God Our Savior Jesus Christ Healing and Deliverance Ministry, Inc. is prayerfully committed to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Gospel of the grace of God entrusted to the Apostle Paul. We desire to make Christ known, reach lost souls, strengthen believers, and bring all glory to God.

The Bible
We believe the entire Bible, in its original writings, is verbally inspired by God and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

The Godhead
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct Persons and one divine essence: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 4:24; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6).

The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true Man. He was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins, shed His precious blood for our redemption, and rose bodily from the dead (Luke 1:35; Philippians 2:6-9; Romans 1:3-4).

Man And Sin
We believe all people by nature are dead in trespasses and sins and are unable to please God apart from His saving grace (Ephesians 2:1-3; Romans 3:10-18; Romans 8:7-8).

Salvation By Grace
We believe God justifies the ungodly by His grace, on the ground of the blood of Christ, through faith. Salvation is the free gift of God, apart from man's good works, religious membership, or water baptism (Romans 3:24-28; Romans 5:1-11; Ephesians 2:8-10).

Security In Christ
We believe the saved are secure in Christ as they rest in His redemptive work, continue in faith, and walk after the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1; Colossians 1:21-23; Philippians 1:6).

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who convicts the world of sin and regenerates, baptizes, seals, indwells, enlightens, fills, and empowers the saved (John 16:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14).

The Church, The Body Of Christ
We believe that in the present dispensation of grace, the true Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all who are saved in this dispensation. We are committed to proclaim the Gospel of grace and to follow the revelation of truth given by the risen Lord Jesus Christ through the Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 3:1-10).

One Baptism
We believe all the saved are made members of the Body of Christ by the one baptism of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we affirm that water baptism is not part of God's spiritual program for the Body of Christ under the dispensation of grace (1 Corinthians 1:17; Romans 6:1-3; Ephesians 4:5).

The Lord's Supper
We believe the Lord's Supper is to be observed by the members of the Body of Christ according to the instruction given through the Apostle Paul, in remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Spiritual Gifts And Ministry
We believe the Holy Spirit gives ministry gifts for the strengthening, equipping, and building up of the Church, and that such gifts and ministries must be proven, tested, and exercised under the will of God (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4).

The Believer's Walk
We believe that because of Christ's victory over sin and the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, believers are called to walk in sanctification, obedience, faithfulness, holiness, prayer, love, and a good testimony. We also believe the sin nature is not eradicated during this life, so believers must continually depend on the Lord (Romans 6:6-14; Galatians 5:16-25; Romans 8:37).

The Resurrection
We believe Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead. At His coming, He will raise the saved to everlasting glory, and at the end He will raise the lost to everlasting condemnation (Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians 15:22-24; Revelation 20:11-15).

The Rapture And Second Coming
We believe in the Rapture of the Church, when the Lord will come in the air for all who have believed in Him during the dispensation of grace. We believe this blessed hope will take place before the seven-year Great Tribulation. We also believe in the personal and premillennial Second Coming of Christ, when He will return and reign in His millennial kingdom (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58; Titus 2:13; Revelation 19:11-20; Revelation 20:7).

The State Of The Unsaved
We believe Scripture does not extend the hope of salvation to the unsaved dead, but reveals eternal accountability and conscious suffering for those who reject Christ (Luke 16:23-28; 2 Thessalonians 1:9).

Our Mission
We believe the mission of the church is to preach the Gospel of Christ, reach lost souls, strengthen believers, prepare the Church for Christ's coming, and bring all glory to God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16-17; Romans 15:18-20; Ephesians 4:12-16).

We were just planning to officially start posting on this page for our small House Church here in Agdao, Davao City. Although this page was created a long time ago, we mostly used it only for sharing updates within our private FB group.

Just a day ago, on May 24, 2026 at around 12:29 AM, we decided to finally change our cover photo. In our hearts, we felt that maybe this was already the right time to publicly share how the Lord has helped, changed, and transformed our lives. Even though we are small in number, we continue to witness how God works wonderfully in our church family.

We were starting to gather ideas on what kind of posts we could share about our House Church journey.

But one thing is certain, this was never the first post we expected or wanted to make on this page.

Last night, May 24, 2026, at around 11:34 PM, a fire broke out in Purok 8, IKP Jerome, Brgy. Lapu-Lapu, Davao City. It was a very huge fire that affected many homes and families in the area. The fire was raised to 2nd Alarm and was later declared under control by BFP XI at around 12:44 AM on May 25, 2026.

In just a little more than an hour, many families were affected by the fire.

Among them were three families from our church, including the home of one of our church elders.

Yet even in the middle of this tragedy, we witnessed the protection and goodness of God.

One of our church members shared that at exactly around 11:00 PM, their 3 year old child, whose mother is currently pregnant, suddenly became uneasy and started crying. Because of this, the family remained awake that night. Moments later, they heard people shouting “Sunog!” Unfortunately, the place where the fire started was very near to their home, which caused the fire to spread very quickly to their area.

They were no longer able to save many of their belongings because of how fast the fire spread.

Another family also shared that they barely had time to get anything because they started noticing signs of electrical grounding and heat coming from the walls before the fire spread throughout their house.

Everything they had was left behind and burned.

Even the newly bought school bags and uniforms for their children, which they had just purchased last week for the upcoming opening of classes next month, were lost in the fire.

But despite all these things, we continue to thank God because every family member was kept safe. There were no casualties reported.

We are also deeply grateful because the house where we currently gather for worship and fellowship, along with our instruments and church equipment, was spared even though it was very near the affected area. As of now, some of the affected members are temporarily staying there.

In this difficult moment, we were reminded of the Word of the Lord from Ephesians 3:14–16, the prayer of Apostle Paul for the church in Ephesus:

“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.”

Since the beginning of this year, many times in our church services we have studied the letters of Paul. Through His Word, the Lord has been teaching us to pray for one another and strengthen one another in faith, so that we may stand firm no matter what season or trial may come into our lives.

And now we realize that even though we were not prepared for this incident, God was already preparing our hearts and souls through His Word.

Today, we continue to thank God for His goodness.

We are also thankful to the government agencies, barangay officials, responders, Pastors, and to the mission of Great God Our Savior Jesus Healing and Deliverance Ministry for extending help, prayers, and support to the affected families from our Agdao, Davao Church.

Though we may not be many in number, your love, kindness, and efforts made every affected family feel that they are not alone during this painful season.

At this moment, we are still humbly asking for prayers and any kind of help or donation for the affected families from our church and community. Any amount or support will mean so much as they slowly recover and rebuild their lives.

We also ask for your prayers and support for the neighboring families, especially for the children and students as the opening of classes next month is approaching.

For donations intended for the affected families from our church, you may send directly through the GCash number of our Host Pastor:

For in-kind donations intended for other affected neighboring families, you may drop them off at:

We know that the photos and videos from this tragedy will forever remain as part of our history, testimonies, and reminders of how great and faithful our God is even in the hardest moments of life.

And as we always say in our Church:

“God is Good, all the time. And all the time, Praise the Lord!”
