Pentecost Sunday

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, also known as the birthday of the Church. In the Gospel, Jesus said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” Through the Holy Spirit, the disciples became courageous and joyful in proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord. Even though they were once afraid, God gave them strength and peace to continue His mission.

Just like the disciples, God is also calling us to become instruments of peace, joy, hope, and love to others. Sometimes we may ask ourselves, “Who is God in my life?” The answer can be seen through the way we help, forgive, and become a blessing to other people. God has chosen each one of us for a purpose, and He invites us to share His goodness with the world.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide our hearts and strengthen our faith every day. ❤️

“Receive the Holy Spirit.” – John 20:22

The Ascension of the Lord
World Communications Sunday

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds His disciples to continue spreading His teachings to all nations. Even though some of them doubted, they still chose to follow and trust Him. This reminds us that having doubts is normal, but we should never stop believing in God’s presence in our lives.

Jesus also promised, “I am with you always, until the end of the age.” These words give us comfort and hope, especially during difficult times. No matter what challenges we face, God never leaves us alone. He continues to guide us through our faith, prayers, and the people around us.

May we continue to become faithful followers of Christ by sharing love, kindness, and hope to others every day.

Sixth Sunday of Easter

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”
Sometimes we think God’s commandments are only rules that limit us, but in reality, they are guides that lead us to the right path. His commandments are not made to imprison us, but to help us live with love, peace, and goodness.

As Fr. Elvie shared in his homily, obeying God’s commandments is not only about following rules, but it is also an invitation to love. When we truly love God, we also learn to love others, choose what is right, and become better people even when life is difficult.

And to all amazing mothers out there, Happy Mother’s Day! 💐❤️

Fifth Sunday of Easter - Cycle A

In the Gospel of St. John, it reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When we follow Jesus, it means that we need to maintain our faith in order for us to reflect on how He told His disciples to follow Him into eternal life.

Fr. Elvie said in his homily, “Eternal life is to be with God, our Creator, and our ultimate destiny is life with Him.” In our present time, we need to focus on how Jesus told His disciples that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Good Shepherd Sunday
World Day of Prayer for Vocations

We are now on the Fourth Sunday of Easter. At the same time, we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday and the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. In today’s Gospel, it reminds us about trust and abundant life. Jesus presents Himself as the Good Shepherd who knows His sheep and leads them to life.

Today is also the World Day of Prayer for Vocations— it is not about pressure, but about responding to God’s call for us—whether in Priesthood, Religious Life, Married Life, or Single Blessedness. We should not force ourselves to decide, but trust God’s plan for our future.

Third Sunday of Easter - Cycle A

On the Third Sunday of Easter, the theme is all about “Recognizing Him in the Breaking of Bread.” As we have heard in the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35, it invites us to reflect on a quiet and deeply human moment, where the two disciples were walking away from Jerusalem with disappointment, confusion, and lost hope. Their journey to Emmaus is not only a physical journey, but also a journey of the heart, filled with doubt and sorrow.

In relation to the Gospel, we are also like the two disciples of Jesus. Why? Because there are things that do not turn out the way we expected. We also feel discouraged and question where God is in the middle of our struggles in life.

2nd Sunday of Easter
April 12, 2026

Today, we are on the 2nd Sunday of Easter, and at the same time, we celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy. In today’s Gospel, it speaks about doubting Thomas. In connection to this feast, we are reminded that we receive the mercy and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ by forgiving others, because He sacrificed Himself for us as sinners.

1st Sunday of Easter

We are now on the 1st Sunday of Easter, where we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. In today’s Gospel, it reminds us that we must believe that Jesus truly has been raised from the dead. Like Mary Magdalene and Peter, they started to doubt, but their faith grew as they continued to believe. The main point of today’s Gospel is that the empty tomb teaches us to have faith in God.

Happy Easter, everyone!!!

Fifth Sunday of Lent

Today is Passiontide Sunday, a time to prepare our hearts for the Paschal Triduum Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday.

In the Gospel, we hear about the raising of Lazarus a reminder that nothing is impossible with God. From Fr. Elvie’s homily, we are called to deepen our faith and trust in Him always, even in difficult times.

God’s love brings hope, life, and strength.

Second Sunday of Lent

Jesus touched them and said, "Do not be afraid."

This part of the Gospel holds a meaningful and reassuring message. It teaches us not to be afraid— faith must continue even in ordinary and painful times.
