19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Through the Gospel, we are reminded to trust Jesus even when fear and difficulties make us feel like we are losing our way.

Like Peter, we may sometimes become afraid when we face strong winds and uncertain moments. But Jesus reminds us not to be afraid and to keep our faith in Him.

Sometimes, we may feel like we are sinking, but Jesus is always there to reach out His hand. Let us keep trusting Him, especially when life becomes difficult.

Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

The Gospel calls us to trust in God's providence and never turn away from those in need. Jesus showed that He cares for everyone and provides not only enough, but more than we expect.

The homily reminds us that as followers of Christ, we are called to care for those around us and trust that God will never leave or abandon us.

When we trust God and share His love with others, we will see the abundance of His blessings.

Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Life is full of choices, and today's Gospel reminds us to choose what is truly valuable. We often spend our time chasing things that won't last, but the greatest treasure we can ever have is a life with God.

The homily reminds us to ask ourselves, Will you give up your faith in God? We are challenged to carefully choose the treasure we hold onto. Wealth, success, and other things may fade, but God's love and presence will always remain.

Let us always choose to stay close to God, because He is the greatest treasure we could ever have. When we keep Him in our hearts, we will never lose what truly matters.

"Choose God above all, for He is the treasure that lasts forever."

Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

As we reflect on this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that our life is like planting a seed. The kind of fruit we produce depends on what we choose to plant in our hearts each day.

If we plant love, faith, kindness, and trust in God, we will receive peace, joy, and many blessings. But if we allow anger, pride, or sin to grow, they can slowly destroy the good that God wants to do in us. That is why we must always ask ourselves, "Am I doing the right thing?"

Life is like planting. When we keep God's word in our hearts and live it every day, we become like the good soil that bears good fruit. May we continue to grow in faith and become a blessing to others.

"But the seed sown on rich soil is the one who hears the word and understands it." Matthew 13:23

Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

As we reflect on this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus gives us a simple but powerful invitation "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." This reminds us that we don't have to carry every burden alone because God is always ready to walk beside us.

Life will never be free from problems, struggles, and difficult paths. There will still be days when we feel tired and overwhelmed. But when we choose to let God carry what we cannot carry, our burdens become lighter. We may still face the same challenges, but our hearts become stronger because we know we are not facing them alone.

Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.— Matthew 11:28

Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Every day, God invites us to follow Him with all our hearts. Being a Catholic is not only about being baptized but also about living the life that Jesus has shown us. He calls us to choose love, even when it is difficult.

The Gospel also reminds us that when we give ourselves in love for God and for His people, we become truly worthy to walk with Him. Every act of kindness, forgiveness, and service no matter how small is never forgotten by God.

May we continue to follow the path of the Lord with faith, love, and humility, trusting that every sacrifice we make for Him will always have a greater purpose.

"Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it".

Simon, thank you for always sharing your talent in playing the piano and serving God through music. As you graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation, may the Lord continue to guide your journey wherever it leads you.

Emy, thank you for using your beautiful voice to inspire and lead us in worship. As you graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, may God continue to bless you and use your gifts to bring hope and kindness to others.

Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sometimes, fear can stop us from doing what is right. But the Gospel reminds us that fear is useless when we place our trust in God. Jesus tells us, “Fear no one,” because He is always with us, guiding and protecting us every step of the way.

There may be moments when we experience problems, rejection, or discouragement, but we should never forget that God is beside us. He knows our struggles, our worries, and even the smallest details of our lives. If He cares for the birds of the air, how much more does He care for us?

This message encourages us to continue following God's path with courage and faith. Instead of being afraid, let us trust in the Lord, believe in His promises, and remember that we are never alone.

"Do not be afraid you are worth more than many sparrows".
