Peace in the Lord!

On 25 February 2026, Wednesday, we will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

The Archdiocese of Davao intends to mark this significant event with appropriate activities to help keep alive the spirit of EDSA People Power, even after forty years. I trust that our Catholic schools will likewise organize meaningful activities to help the young understand and appreciate this important moment in our nation’s history.

In particular, I invite everyone to join the

5:30 p.m. Eucharistic Celebration at San Pedro Cathedral on 25 February 2026.

In this Eucharistic celebration, we shall thank God for that historic and noble event, for his guiding presence then and now, and we shall pray that the spirit of unity, courage, and faith may continue to live in our hearts today.

May I also request that this be announced during all Masses, including anticipated Masses, on February 15 and 22, so that the faithful may be informed and encouraged to participate.

we gaze upon the humble and radiant example of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. This image reminds us that at the heart of our faith is a family—one that experienced the same joys, worries, and deep love that we do in our own homes.

𝗦𝘁. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 stands as a pillar of strength and protection, the Blessed Mother offers her tender, nurturing grace, and at the center, the Child Jesus opens His arms to embrace the whole world. As we reflect on this sacred scene,
