𝗞𝗢𝗔 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ⛪✨

Last March 28, 2026 (Saturday), the ministry held its first-ever Formation Day at the 2nd Floor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Led by the KOA Core Group under the guidance of Fr. Roger Duhaylungsod, the gathering focused on strengthening knowledge, refining skills, and deepening commitment in serving the altar.

Through active participation and shared learning, the ministry grew in discipline, unity, and faith. This milestone marks a step forward in forming altar servers who serve with greater reverence and purpose.

𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗬 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘 | In the midst of the adversities and confusion, God calls us to be with Him, especially throughout this solemn season of Lent. We continue to reflect, pray, and be steadfast, renewing our hearts through repentance from sin.

As we reflect upon Jesus' passion, death, and resurrection in this Lenten season and Holy Week, let us remember God's love and faithfulness and that, in Him alone, we shall inherit everlasting life.

"I am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will never die."

𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗥, 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 ⛪✨

The Knights of the Altar of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish – Bangkal participated in the 2026 Altar Servers Convention at St. Francis Xavier College Seminary, joining fellow altar servers in a day of formation and fellowship.

Rev. Fr. Christopher Alcayde gave a talk on “Dilexi Te,” inviting the servers to reflect on Christ’s love and their personal response in serving at the altar. The group also engaged in a sharing session that strengthened their unity and commitment as a ministry.

In the afternoon, the convention continued with activities such as sports, quiz competitions, and Larong Pinoy, fostering teamwork, camaraderie, and joyful fellowship among the servers.

𝗩𝗜𝗩𝗔 𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗬𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢. 𝗡𝗜Ñ𝗢, 𝗩𝗜𝗩𝗔!

We honor the Holy Child Jesus as a symbol of faith, hope, and love. He is King, but he does not come to be served. He comes to serve mankind and fulfill His mission on earth.

The Image of Sto. Niño reminds us that humility and self-giving love is what matters most. God becoming a child in the form of Jesus Christ is a powerful symbol for us to be one in faith and purpose.

𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗔: 𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 🎄✨

The Christmas Party concluded with laughter, shared meals, and meaningful moments that brought everyone together.

The celebration was a reminder to give thanks for the gift of life and the strength of faith that carried the ministry throughout the year. Through games, conversations, and shared joy, the members experienced the true spirit of Christmas rooted in love, hope, and community.

As the season continues, may the joy of Hiraya remain in our hearts and guide us to live with gratitude, compassion, and faith.

𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬

On January 1, we honor the Motherhood of Mary during this Christmas Season. Among all women in the world, she was chosen to be the mother of the promised Savior, Jesus Christ, who is also fully God incarnate.

Her acceptance to the call of God is an example of obedience, commitment, faith, and trust in God's will.

As we celebrate the new year along with this solemnity, let us come together and discern the call and purpose of God in our lives.
