Last Tuesday around 1:30am our church meeting place and the parsonage was flooded due to the thunderstorm and also the location is lower than the road.

Everything on the floor carpets, amplifier, speakers, instruments, home appliances, and even books and some boxes of tracts got soaked. Flooding left us a massive load of slime and mud..

In all this we learn what Job said..

Job 1:21 KJV
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

In addition to that,

Matthew 6:19-21 KJV
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

But still God is good and his mercy endureth forever..we are all safe..

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
