Fear has become such a normal part of life that many people carry it without even realizing it. Fear of the future. Fear of failure. Fear of bad news. Fear of losing what we love.

But God's Word reminds us that while fear may exist around us, it does not have to rule us. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

The truth is, courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is choosing to trust God even when life feels uncertain. It is believing that His presence is greater than our problems, His promises are stronger than our worries, and His power is bigger than anything we face.

We do not live in a world without fear, but we do not have to live in fear.

So lift up your head. Stand firm in faith. Let God's peace guard your heart and His truth guide your mind.

Go into this world not as someone controlled by fear, but as someone empowered by the Holy Spirit, confident that God is with you every step of the way.

Last Sunday, June 7, was a timely reminder that even in a world filled with uncertainty, fear, and challenges, God has not called us to live in fear. Instead, He has given us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

Through worship, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word, we were encouraged to keep our eyes on the Lord rather than on the circumstances around us. While the world may be filled with reasons to worry, we can walk in confidence knowing that God is with us, His promises are true, and His presence never leaves us.

Thank you, JILC Buhangin family, for another meaningful Sunday in God’s presence. It was a blessing to worship, pray, and grow together in faith.

As a new week begins, may we continue to choose faith over fear, trust over worry, and God’s truth over what the world says.

One of the hardest things in life is waiting on a promise from God while nothing seems to be changing around you. There are moments when prayers feel delayed, doors remain closed, and the situation looks the complete opposite of what you have been believing for.

But Numbers 23:19 reminds us of something powerful, God is not like man. He does not lie, He does not change His mind, and He never speaks empty promises. If He said it, He will do it.

The waiting season does not mean God forgot you. Sometimes, while you are waiting for the promise, God is also preparing your heart, strengthening your faith, and positioning things in ways you cannot yet see.

What you are believing for may not happen according to your timeline, but God’s timing is always perfect. Never too early. Never too late.

So keep praying even when it feels quiet.
Keep trusting even when it feels slow.
Keep declaring His promises even when circumstances say otherwise.

Healing is coming.
Provision is coming.
Breakthrough is coming.
Open doors are coming.

Because when God makes a promise, He does not fail to bring it to pass.

Last Sunday was filled with sincere worship, heartfelt prayers, genuine fellowship, and a timely message from God that spoke right into the hearts of His people. It was a beautiful reminder that no matter what season we are in, God sees us, knows us, and always meets us where we are.

In the middle of busy schedules, silent battles, and exhausting weeks, God gently reminded us to keep choosing Him, keep trusting Him, and keep serving Him with all our hearts.

Moments like these are a beautiful reminder that church is not just a place we attend; it is a place where weary hearts are refreshed, lives are encouraged, and faith is strengthened.

Last Sunday was such a refreshing reminder that serving God is more than a moment; it is a daily choice.

From worship, prayer, fellowship, and the message “The Heart of a Servant,” God reminded us that real service begins with a heart fully surrendered to Him. Not only when life is easy. Not only when emotions are high. But in every season, with our whole life.

Thank you, Church family, for worshiping with us and opening your hearts to God’s Word. There is something beautiful about seeing people choose to stay faithful, hungry, and connected to God despite life’s challenges.

Serving God is easy when everything feels good, when prayers are answered, emotions are high, and life is going smoothly. But true surrender shows up even in the quiet seasons, the difficult seasons, and the moments when nobody sees the sacrifices you make.

This message reminds us that serving God is not just something we do when it is convenient or comfortable. It is a daily choice to keep following Him, trusting Him, and staying faithful in every season of life.

Joshua’s words, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” were not just a statement. It was a firm decision. A heart fully surrendered to God no matter the cost.

And honestly, that is what real service looks like.

Not perfection. Not performance. Just a heart that keeps saying, “Lord, my life is Yours.”

Because serving God is not a small part of life; it becomes the direction of your whole life.
