Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, rejoicing in Mary’s faithful journey and her complete trust in God’s will. May her life remind us to say “yes” with courage, to remain steadfast in faith, and to follow where God calls us.

May Mary, Our Lady of the Assumption, continue to guide us closer to her Son and accompany us in every step of our journey. 🙏

ABOUT THE BRANDING | ACIL

The Ateneo Catechetical Instructions League is a Christ-centered organization committed to the ministry of catechesis by forming young people in the Catholic faith through teaching, accompaniment, and service. Inspired by the Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person (cura personalis) and forming men and women for and with others, ACIL equips its members to become compassionate catechists who journey with children, helping them discover God's love through faith formation, Christian values, and meaningful encounters with Christ.

Anchored in this mission, ACIL embraces the theme "Sail in His Love," with the sailboat serving as its central symbol. Like a sailboat that relies on the wind to move toward its destination, ACIL recognizes that its mission is guided not by human strength alone but by the Holy Spirit and God's enduring love.

As catechists, members are called to accompany children on their journey of faith, navigating life's challenges with hope, discernment, and trust in God. The sailboat reflects the Church as a community on mission continually moving forward, inspired by the Ignatian call to find God in all things and to serve with generosity, humility, and love, so that every child encountered may come to know Christ more deeply.
