What Defensoris Ecclesie means
After a deeper contemplation on the Organizational Motto, the organization has realized that more than defending the Church in Her faith and morals, it also means defending the people who comprise the Church. It means raising the banners of her principles and defending her moral and social doctrines before the society that has been rejecting her principles for the p
ast decades and centuries. It means defending her philosophy, the view of reality and knowledge that she holds, and the view of how one ought to live. It means defending her tradition as it is continued to be understood and unwrapped until now. It means defending, which the best way is to communicate and create dialogue, through any medium and platform that we can use, her teachings and actions. Yet above all, being Defensoris Ecclesie means defending the wounded, the abandoned, and the lost. Here, in this case, by defending we mean serving as one of the wounded among the wounded, abandoned among the abandoned, lost among the lost. And yet no matter how wounded and lost we are in our human frailty and nakedness we must continue to serve, in charity, our brothers and sisters in Christ.
