Will You Remain?

One of the greatest prayers we can have for every believer is that they will remain—remain faithful to God, loyal to His church, committed to His ministry, and steadfast in serving Christ.
The church is the Body of Christ. As believers, we are called not only to attend services but to faithfully continue in the faith for the glory of God.
The question is: Will you remain?
Our lives are short and uncertain, but God's calling remains the same.
1. Will You Remain Faithful or Unfaithful?
📖 Romans 6:1–12 (KJV)
Not everyone inside the church is truly faithful. Some faithfully attend worship services and participate in ministries, yet there is still no genuine transformation in their lives. They hear the Word of God, receive biblical counsel, and listen to the pastor's guidance, but their hearts remain unchanged.
Being present in church does not automatically mean we are faithfully living for Christ. The real question is:
How is your life outside the church?
True faithfulness is seen both inside and outside the church. It is reflected in our character, our lifestyle, and our daily walk with God.
Salvation is not a license to return to our old sinful life. The Bible reminds us not to continue living in the sins from which Christ has delivered us. We should no longer live as we once did.
Even if you have been attending church for many years or have been baptized, it does not mean your Christian life no longer requires growth. Baptism is an act of obedience and a testimony of faith, but our lives should continually display the evidence of a transformed heart.
Thank God for His grace, for giving us another opportunity each day to align our lives with His will.
It is only by His grace that we are enabled to remain faithful—to His work, His church, and His ministry. Therefore, let us not yield to the desires of our flesh but offer our lives to God in faithful obedience.
There may be moments when we forget the grace that brought us where we are today. Let us always remember that we stand because of Christ, not because of ourselves.
2. Will You Remain Faithful Even When Life Is Uncertain?
None of us knows what tomorrow holds.
Life may be filled with struggles, disappointments, and brokenness, but one truth remains certain:
God is faithful.
There are seasons when attending church or serving God becomes difficult because of life's challenges. Yet the blessings of God are found in those who continue, persevere, and remain faithful despite uncertainty.
God honors those who stay committed to Him.
3. Will You Remain in Your Own Will or in God's Will?
📖 Romans 12:1 (KJV)
Being in church does not automatically mean we are living according to God's will. There is a difference between our own desires and God's perfect purpose for our lives.
Instead of asking God to bless our own plans, we should pray for lives that will never hinder our service to Him.
Pray that wherever God places you—whether in your workplace, school, or community—you will remain faithful to Him and continue serving Him wholeheartedly.
Faithfulness is not limited to the walls of the local church. It should be evident everywhere we go.
Each day, let this be our prayer:
“Lord, I surrender my life to You. Help me to live according to Your will and remain faithful until the end."
Conclusion
The Christian life is not about how well we begin—it is about faithfully finishing the race.
May we remain steadfast in our faith, unwavering in our commitment, and fully surrendered to God's will.
