The Lord's Vineyard Statement

OUR VISION
To be a Christ-like church that brings impact to our community and the world. Nurturing them in their spiritual growth.
3. Assimilating them into the family.
4. Equipping them for service inside and outside TLV.
5. Sending them out into the world to do the same. What and whom we worship shapes us, so regular participation in worship is essential. (Jn 4:23-

24; Heb 10:24-25)
2. We are to grow in understanding, prayer, service, and stewardship. (Eph 4:12-13; Col 1:9-10, 28)
3. We are agents of reconciliation and transformation in our world. (1 Cor 12:4-6; 1 Pet 4:10-11)
4. One-on-one mentoring and small group participation provide accountability (Ps 133; Acts 2:42-47)

God’s mercy is not something we earn, and it is not controlled by human expectations. It is who He is, the One who withholds the punishment we deserve while remaining just. In Lamentations, written in the ashes of a destroyed Jerusalem, a people suffered the consequences of their own sin. Yet in the middle of grief, this truth remains, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed… great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

His mercy preserves us even when our failures should have destroyed us. His mercy is constant and not based on our performance. His mercy is fresh every day, calling us to depend on Him again and again. Justice was not ignored, it was fulfilled at the cross, where what we deserved was placed on Christ.

So stop living like God is about to give up on you. He is faithful even when we are not. Come humble, come broken, come trembling at His Word. There is enough mercy for you here.

God is not just faithful in what He does, faithfulness is His very nature. He is revealed as the covenant-keeper for a thousand generations. This means His promises do not rise and fall with our emotions or circumstances. Even when we are unsteady, He remains constant. Even when we are unfaithful, He stays faithful, because He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:11–13).

When trials come, we are not called to trust what we feel, but to remember. In our darkest moments, we must consciously call to mind God’s past faithfulness. His mercies have never failed, and they will not start now.

So anchor yourself in what is true. Recall what He has done. Hold on to what He has said. The same God who has been faithful before will be faithful again.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his mercies never fail. They are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22–23)

The book of Lamentations was written in a season of deep loss and suffering. Jerusalem had fallen, and hope seemed gone. Yet in the middle of grief, the prophet Jeremiah remembered this truth. God’s mercy had not run out.

This reminds us that God’s compassion is not based on our performance or yesterday’s failures. His mercy is renewed each morning because it flows from His faithful character.

Our circumstances may change, but the Lord’s faithfulness remains. His mercy meets us again today.
