Psalm 51:7โ€“12

One of the key reminders from todayโ€™s message:

โ€œ๐–๐ž ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐†๐จ๐, ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‡๐ข๐ฆ ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ๐ž, ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฐ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ฎ๐ฌ.โ€

There are times when we fall into sin, carry guilt, or get stuck with the things we have done. Sometimes , shame makes us wanna hide from God, and we start thinking we gotta clean ourselves firstโ€ฆ before we show up to Him.

But Psalm 51 keeps reminding us that we do not run to God because weโ€™re already clean. We come to God because we need Him to cleanse us, period.

David didnโ€™t cover it up, and he also didnโ€™t invent some excuses. He brought everything to God, straight up, and asked Him to cleanse, forgive, and also form in him a pure heart.

Still, sincere confession is more than just asking for forgiveness. Itโ€™s also a longing to be reshaped and reworked inside, in a very practical way. David asked God to renew his spirit, restore his joy, and keep him steady in His presence.

Sometimes, we ask God to take away our guilt, but secretly we resist the change He wants to do in our lives. We want restoration, yet we hesitate to surrender. And thatโ€™s where real confession becomes something bigger, God not only forgives what we did, but also rebuilds who we are.

So when we fall , donโ€™t go hiding from God. Come to Him.

There are times we cry out to God and, we kind a wonder why He feels so quiet.

Psalm 13 gently reminds us that faith is not the total absence of questions, or the absence of hurt.

Faith will cry when God seems silent, it keeps praying even when the reply hasnโ€™t shown up, and it holds onto Godโ€™s nature even if we canโ€™t make sense of His plan. Our moods might shift from one day to the next, but Godโ€™s character stays steady. Always.

So when God seems silent, ๐๐จ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž ๐‡๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š๐›๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ. Keep crying out , keep praying, and keep trusting. He is still the God who hears our cries, even then.

No matter what season you are in today, remember this: God is attentive to those who call upon Him. He is near to the brokenhearted and faithful to hear their cries. But the God who hears also calls us to ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐๐ข๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ, to pursue righteousness, reject evil, and reflect His character in the way we live.

Is your hope active or passive?

Many people say they have hopeโ€”but biblical hope is more than a feeling. It is a daily choice to trust God and live for Him.

Because Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the grave, and secured our eternal inheritance, we are called to live with steadfast hope.

How can we do that?

-Prepare your mind for action.
Fill your mind with God's Word before the battles of life come.

-Remain sober-minded.
Stay spiritually alert. Don't let fear, distractions, or the pressures of this world control your heart.

May we live each day with a hope that is active, intentional, and firmly anchored in Christ.

"Therefore, prepare your minds for action, be sober-minded, and set your hope fully on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." โ€” 1 Peter 1:13
