HEALING PRAYER OF PADRE PIO

In moments of weakness, pain, and uncertainty, we turn to God who is the source of all healing and peace. May this prayer remind us that the Lord never abandons His children, for His love restores not only the body, but also the mind, soul, and spirit.

Loving Father, touch me now
with your healing hands,

for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.

Let the fire of your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function.

Amen.

MAY 25, 2026 — 139TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF ST. PADRE PIO

Today, we remember with joy and gratitude the 139th birth anniversary of Saint Padre Pio, one of the most beloved saints of the Catholic Church. Born on May 25, 1887, Padre Pio became a living witness of God’s mercy, love, sacrifice, and holiness. Through his life of prayer, suffering, humility, and deep union with Christ, he inspired countless souls to return to God and trust completely in His divine mercy.

Padre Pio was known for his profound devotion to the Holy Eucharist, frequent prayer, love for confession, and unwavering obedience to God. Despite carrying heavy crosses, including physical suffering and the stigmata of Christ, he remained faithful and offered everything for the salvation of souls. His life reminds us that holiness is possible when we surrender ourselves fully to the Lord.

Even today, many continue to experience his powerful intercession, spiritual guidance, and comforting presence. He taught the world the importance of prayer with his famous words: “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.” In times of fear, uncertainty, pain, and weakness, Padre Pio continues to lead souls closer to Jesus.

As we celebrate this special day, may we deepen our devotion to Padre Pio not merely by admiration, but by imitation — through a life rooted in prayer, repentance, humility, and trust in God. May his example inspire us to remain faithful amid trials and to seek Christ above all things.

Padre Pio, you are God’s special blessing to all of us. Thank you for your continuous prayers and intercessions. Continue to guide us toward Jesus and help us persevere in faith until the end.

Saint Padre Pio, pray for us always. Amen.
