This week, we learned about the life of a true follower of Christ. Jesus warns that following Him means enduring hardship, rejection, and sacrifice. Christ did not promise convenience when we follow Him but it is about our committment to the one that freely showers us with abundant grace. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴?

Jesus doesn’t prevent us from exalting ourselves, but the problem is we want the reward now. Jesus’ way is to live simply and humbly. As a disciple of Jesus, we are taught to wait patiently when He grants us honor.

and sometimes that prayer is the beginning of deeper worship. Because when we realize that Jesus is not only the One who can calm our storms but also the One who holds us when we are sinking, our wonder begins to become worship.

Bacungan Mission Church — Holy Groundbreaking Ceremony | 8.08.2026

Today, we break THIS ground upon the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ, and lay the foundation of this church in Him. We commit this holy site and the work ahead into the hands of God, trusting Him to establish His house and use it for His glory.
