Question: "What is Christian Missions?"

Answer: Christian missions is following Christ’s call: sharing the Gospel with the lost world through God’s wisdom and strength. Christian missions is obeying Christ
After Christ’s death and resurrection, He commanded the disciples to share the Gospel, the message of His redemption. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the

name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20). Rather than a burden, obeying His call brings joy and reward in heaven. We should fulfill our mission not out of duty but love: “For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. . . . Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:14-21). God could convert everyone using a blinding light and the voice of Christ as He did with the apostle Paul. Instead, He gives Christians the mission of reconciliation (Acts 1:8-9). He works through us, calling sinners to turn to Christ in repentance and faith. Christian missions is sharing Christ
Our mission is proclaiming Christ as the only way to abundant, eternal life. Jesus made it clear that Christians are to reach out to “all the nations” (Matthew 28:19). Instead of countries, he was referring to people groups, those ethnic cultures without a Gospel witness. Christian missions, however, is not limited to overseas ministry. While believers should faithfully support those who go to the unreached, all Christians have the mission to share Christ on the home field with family, friends, coworkers, and the community. The Christian mission of sharing Christ does not end with a sinner’s salvation. The commission was to make disciples – not immature believers. Thus, Christian missions involves not only evangelism but also discipleship. Christian missions is relying on Christ
Sharing the Gospel humbly, boldly, and passionately is our Christian mission. But we cannot do it alone. While our mission is sharing Christ, the power and results come from the Lord. He gives us the wisdom, strength, and desire to witness! Through our witness, He works repentance and faith in the sinner’s heart (2 Corinthians 5:20-21). Although it is God's work, Christians are responsible to understand the Gospel and have a strong relationship with Christ. Such a relationship guards them from hypocrisy. “But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. Jesus assured that suffering would accompany missions, but God uses it for good. In sum, Christian missions is obeying Christ, sharing Christ, and relying on Christ. Specifically, God sends missionaries through the support of the church to the unreached. All Christians, however, have the mission of reconciliation. The Lord works through them to rescue the lost. What greater mission can one answer?

Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.
—Psalm 119:1

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

As Christians, we hear this passage a little differently than those who lived under the O.T. Law. We recognize that our blamelessness comes as a gift of Jesus' sacrificial death on the Cross. We know we are not justified by keeping the Law, but we are doing our absolute best to walk in the way of the Lord out of thanks for God's glorious grace. There is great blessing in doing the will of God. That blessing is not just in the future, but begins right now.

It’s really nice to wake up in the morning realizing that GOD has given you another day to live. Good Morning

My verse for today ...

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
—Proverbs 16:9

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We're now a week-and-a-half into a new year. How are you doing with those changes and commitments you made for the new year? Don't give up or quit on them... even if you're having trouble staying on track. But, let's remember that the only real commitment for this year that is absolutely necessary to keep is that we ask the Lord where he wants us to go and what he wants us to do, then we go there and do it.

"Friends are not beautiful as they look,as they walk,as they talk.friends are beautiful as they show sincerity,as they care and as they remember you.as dear friend you always do.wish you a great year ahead. May this new year bring peace and joy in your life and take you towards excellence. Wishing you a very happy new year 2013."
GOOD MORNING and GOD BLESS ...

But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
—Luke 12:31

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As you stand at the end of one year and look over tomorrow into the beginning of a new one, please remember that before the resolutions are made and broken, and before this year has come to an end, declare to the Lord and in your hearts, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord..." (Joshua 24:15b) as our first priority!

I will always THANK GOD for this another DAY, Still HE woke up me, HE gives me air so that i can breath. Thank you GOD for your LOVE, I know your LOVE will endures FOREVER .. GODBLESS to all of us .. Stay safe ... :))) ...

My Verse of the Day...

Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
—Proverbs 12:19

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

"Tell the truth the first time, then you won't have to remember what you said." This truism by the famous Speaker of the House, Sam Rayburn, is good medicine for us today. Telling a lie seems gratifying at the time, but it nearly always catches up with us and gives us the added burden of trying to remember what we said and why. Truth endures; a lie is a momentary illusion that ends up a trap filled with burdens.

Every morning is a BLESSING, so thank GOD for the BLESSING HE give it to you this morning that you woke up this DAY .. THANK GOD and GODBLESS ...

My Verse of the Day ...

But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
—1 Corinthians 12:18-20

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The Apostle Paul reminds us that God assigns our roles in the Body of Christ. Several principles interact with God's choice. First, be faithful in what God has given you to do -- until we are faithful in/with little things, he will not entrust us with big ones (Luke 16:10-13). Second, if we don't use what he has given us, it will be taken away (Matt. 25:14-30). Third, we reap what we sow -- sinful or irresponsible behavior can create consequences that limit the effectiveness of our service (Gal. 6:7-8). Bottom line -- let's be faithful with what God has given us, let's serve him when given new opportunities, and let's honor him with our choices so that Satan cannot use our failure to interfere with our service!

Every MORNING is a new BEGINNING and new HOPE. So lets BEGIN our day with our prayer GIVING thanks to the LORD and lets HOPE for it ... GOD BLESS ...!!!

My Verse of the Day ...

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
—Romans 12:17-18

Thoughts on Today's Verse..
REDEMPTIVELY -- That's how Jesus lived! He sought to make a difference in the lives of others. His goal wasn't getting even, getting what was rightfully his, or even winning the arguments. His focus was to interact with people redemptively and to leave them more blessed than where he found them.

GoOdMOrning .. Have a BLESSED morning to everyone ... Start your Day your Day with a prayer ... :)))

MY Verse of the Day ..

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
—Romans 12:16

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

"Don't be conceited!" That's a command for someone else, right? I don't think I've ever met someone who felt he or she was conceited. But, when we're looking for someone with whom we want to associate, we seldom look for someone ignored by the crowd, forgotten by the pretty people, and easily overlooked by others. We want to "hang around with" those who are important, who are superstars, or at least who carry some clout. We believe we deserve to be noticed and valued, too. Oops, guess that's where the commands in this verse come from!
