A CROWN OF GRACE, A LIFE OF CONSECRATION 👑🌹

On this beautiful Memorial of the Queenship of Mary, we celebrate with joy the First Profession of Religious Vows and Investiture of Maria Claudette Esteban Maria Filomena Zeta, Sisters of the Apostles of Jesus Crucified.

Like Mary, may her life be a humble yes to God—rooted in faith, guided by love, and devoted to serving Christ and His people.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven, accompany and intercede for her as she begins this beautiful journey of consecrated life. May her vocation bear abundant fruit for the Church. 🙏🏻💙

A YES TO A LIFE OF LOVE AND SERVICE

Today, as we celebrate the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we also rejoice in the First Profession of Vows and Investiture of Maria Claudette Esteban and Maria Filomena Leta of the Sisters Apostles of Jesus Crucified.

What a beautiful day to offer one’s life to God—under the loving guidance and example of Mary, our Queen and Mother. May their “yes” to Christ be strengthened by her faithful “yes,” and may they grow in love, humility, courage, and joyful service.

May Mary, Queen of Heaven, accompany them as they begin this new chapter of consecrated life, leading them ever closer to her Son, Jesus.

Congratulations, Sisters! May your “yes” be a lasting offering of love to God.

With hearts filled with faith, dedication, and gratitude, we proudly present the official portraits of the Altar Servers of St. John Paul II Parish.

Behind every portrait is a young person with a unique story, a growing faith, and a heart willing to serve. Serving at the altar is more than a ministry—it is an opportunity to grow closer to Christ, to learn humility and responsibility, and to discover the joy of giving oneself in service to God and His Church.

As St. John Paul II reminds us:

“Altar servers are called to be young friends of Jesus. Strive to deepen and foster this friendship with Him.”

AURORA: COMMEMORATING FATIMA APPARITION THROUGH A DAWN PROCESSION (4TH APPARITION) - AUGUST 19

Join us for a candlelit walk at dawn with fellow pilgrims as we journey through the dawn to commemorate the promises and blessings bestowed by the Virgin Mary at 4:30 AM on August 19, 2026 (Wednesday)

A celebration of the Holy Mass will be held at 6:00 AM.

Bring your rosary, a white handkerchief, and an excited self! See you!

She came as a pilgrim, she stays as a gift

Daghang salamat, Mahal na Birhen, for coming to Davao and for staying with us. Truly, a beautiful gift of faith and love. Welcome home, Mama Mary! 💙

SHE CAME AS A PILGRIM, SHE STAYS AS A GIFT.

“Di na po namin isasama pauwi ang Mahal na Birhen. Regalo po ng Obispo, regalo po sa bawat isa, regalo po ng pananampalataya kasi kung panong bumisita kami dito nakita pa namin ang pananampalataya sa inyo at yun po ang aming babaonin.”

During the Closing Holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Idris Francisco revealed the beautiful surprise that the Image of the Mahal na Birhen will remain here in the Archdiocese of Davao.

What a beautiful way to conclude the four-day Pilgrimage Visit of the Image of Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje- Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in the local church of Davao.

What began as a four-day visit has now become a lasting presence. She came to visit, but she will remain to journey with us.
