Happy Birthday, Santa Maria Bambina!

May we always see the countless graces in our lives, like the Blessed Mother, to allow ourselves to rejoice in God's blessings.

Who do you say that I am?

If Peter is the rock, then we are the little stones. Each of us is important in the building of the Body of Christ, which is the Church. By virtue of our Baptism, the Lord also entrusts to us the responsibility of doing our part in building up His Church. No stone is insignificant when it is placed in the hands of God and becomes part of His dwelling.

Thus, when Jesus asks us, “But who do you say that I am?”, it is a personal question addressed to each one of us. He is asking: Who are you after encountering Me? Do you truly believe in Me, and are you bold enough to proclaim My name? How far are you willing to go for Me?

Our answer cannot remain merely in words. If we truly recognize Jesus Christ as our Savior, then our faith must be seen in the way we live, serve, love, and witness to our community. As little stones in the Church, we are called to allow ourselves to be shaped by Christ and to become instruments in building His Kingdom.

The question, therefore, is not simply, “Who is Jesus?” but also, “Who is Jesus for me, and what am I willing to do because I believe in Him?”
