On May 16, 2026, our dedicated School Catechists gathered at Nazareth Retreat House, Ulas, Davao City for a transformative Seminar-Workshop focused on Teaching Psychology and Teaching Strategies.

The session provided our educators with deeper insights into student minds and innovative methods to make faith formation even more engaging and impactful.

The Ascension of the Lord commemorates Jesus' ascension, both body and soul, into heaven forty days after His resurrection, completing His earthly mission, and is now seated at the Right Hand of the Father.

Troubled by His departure, Jesus comforts His disciples and commissions them to "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit..." In a world plagued by corruption, injustice, and disasters, proclaiming Jesus' light may feel hopeless and out of touch. Jesus' ascension reminds us that He is not far and is with us throughout our struggles in life.

This day marks the anniversary of the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd childrenโ€”Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Martoโ€”in Fatima, Portugal, back in 1917.

On this ๐’๐ข๐ฑ๐ญ๐ก ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ, we continue to celebrate the joy of the Resurrection while honoring the incredible women who reflect Godโ€™s unconditional love: ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ.

In todayโ€™s Gospel, Jesus says, "๐ˆ๐Ÿ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ค๐ž๐ž๐ฉ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ." He isn't referring to rigid rules, but to the commandment of love. Mothers live this Gospel every dayโ€”their love is more than just a feeling; it is the "keeping" of the home, the "doing" for their children, and the selfless service that holds a family together.
