Ang Mary Help of Christians Parish sa Brgy. Dacudao, Calinan, Davao City nagpahibalo nga sa umaabot nga Domingo, Marso 29, 2026, aduna kitay Pagbendita sa Lukay nga pagahimoon sa dili pa magsugod ang mga Misa.

⏰ Schedule sa mga Misa:
• 6:30 sa buntag – Unang Misa
• 9:00 sa buntag – Ikaduhang Misa

📌 Pahinumdom:
Ang pagbindita sa lukay pagahimoon sa dili pa magsugod ang Misa lamang. Dili na modawat og pabendisyon human sa Misa.
Busa, ginahangyo ang tanang parokyano nga mag-abot og sayo aron makaapas sa pagbindita sa ilang lukay.

KOA CONVENTION 2026

⚜️KOTAS (Knights of the Altar Servers) Convention 2026, held at St. Francis Xavier College Seminary and embraced by Mary Help of Christians Parish, was more than just a gathering—it was a celebration of faith, fellowship, and the enduring brotherhood of altar servers. United at the altar, we were strengthened by our shared mission of service and devotion. In every prayer, every smile, and every moment of camaraderie, we discovered the true meaning of fellowship: a bond that goes beyond duty, rooted in love for God and one another.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Brother John Raymond Montejo, SDB, whose guidance, humility, and unwavering dedication continue to inspire us. His example reminds us that true leadership is not about recognition, but about service—quietly lifting others, nurturing their growth, and pointing them toward the light of Christ.

We also honor and thank the Convention Committees, whose tireless efforts and devotion made this gathering possible:

• Safety and Security Committee – for ensuring the protection and well-being of all participants.
• Logistics Committee – for their careful planning and seamless coordination of every detail.
• Food Committee – for providing nourishment and hospitality that strengthened both body and spirit.
• Finance/Budget Committee – for their stewardship and dedication in sustaining the convention.
• Sports Committee – for fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and joyful fellowship through play.
• Care Committee – for their compassion and attentiveness, ensuring that every participant felt supported and valued throughout the convention.

As Knights of the Altar, we carry forward this spirit of fellowship, strengthened by the lessons of this convention and the legacy of those who guide us. May our service always reflect the joy of community, the strength of brotherhood, and the grace of God’s presence in our lives.⚜️

Kagahapon, Disyembre 25, 2025, human sa pagsaulog sa Balaang Misa sa Pasko, ang Knights of the Altar Servers (KOA) sa Mary Help of Christians Parish, Dacudao mipahigayon sa Pax Tecum (Kalinaw uban kanimo), isip bahin sa ilang espirituhanong kalihokan ug pagpaambit sa kalinaw ni Kristo sa komunidad.

Ang maong kalihokan gitumong sa pagpalig-on sa panaghiusa, pagpasaylo, ug pagpadayag sa tinuod nga kahulogan sa Pasko—ang pagdawat sa Batang Hesus sa kasingkasing ug sa panimalay. Pinaagi niini, ang mga altar servers nahimong buhing saksi sa gugma ug kalinaw nga gikan sa Ginoo.

Ang Mary Help of Christians Parish mapasalamaton kaayo sa tanang tag-balay nga malipayon nga miatang ug midawat sa Batang Hesus, nga nagpakita sa ilang pagtuo, kooperasyon, ug suporta sa kalihokan sa Simbahan.

Birthday prayer for Bro. Jacob

Heavenly Father, we thank You today for the gift of life and vocation of Your faithful servant, Bro. Jacob. As we celebrate his birthday, we rejoice in the many ways You have used him to bring young people closer to You, following the example of St. John Bosco. Grant him a heart always burning with zeal, joy, and love for the youth, especially the poor and abandoned. Strengthen his faith, deepen his charity, and fill him with wisdom in guiding souls toward holiness.

Through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians, keep him under her maternal care, protecting him from all harm and inspiring him to be a true shepherd after Your own Heart. May his life be a living testimony of Your goodness, and may he continue to lead many to Christ with a Salesian spirit of joy and kindness.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The CBCP issued a circular Saturday urging the faithful to wear white every Sunday in October and November and to display white ribbons in homes, churches, and public spaces as a prayer “for transparency, accountability, and good governance, and as a humble prayer that our nation may be washed clean and renewed in God’s mercy, and spared of further calamities.”

✨ First KOA Leaders’ Meeting 2025 ✨

As Knights of the Altar servers, together with our Brother John, we were blessed to hold our very first meeting with both past and present KOA leaders. It was a wonderful opportunity to brainstorm ideas and strengthen the ministry of KOA as we continue to serve together.
