(Proverbs 22:6)

The recent tragedy involving a high school shooting in Tacloban shook many hearts across the nation. It left families grieving, students fearful, and communities asking difficult questions.

The battle for this generation is not only happening in schools, homes, or communities.
It is happening in their hearts and minds.

Every day, young people are being discipled by something.
If not by Christ, then by culture.
If not by God’s Word, then by the world’s opinions.

The reality is that darkness does not wait.
It works overtime through confusion, compromise, broken identity, addiction, unhealthy influences, and false beliefs.

The enemy understands something that many believers forget: Whoever shapes the next generation shapes the future. 😭

Every student is a mission field.
Every campus is a harvest field.
Every young person is someone Jesus died for.

Every student reached is a life rescued.
Every young person discipled is a future transformed.
Every soul won is a victory for the Kingdom.

Oh Lord Jesus 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Our hearts grieve for every family affected by violence and tragedy. We pray for healing, comfort, and peace.

Father, protect this generation.
Guard their minds, their hearts, and their future.
Help us not to be passive observers but active disciples who bring Your love wherever darkness exists.

Before darkness disciples this generation,
let Your Church reach them first.
Give us Your heart for this generation.

Proverbs 22:6

It states: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (NKJV).

Reminding Parents that Children learn what love is by observing how adults in the home treat each other.

By witnessing everyday moments—such as affection, respectful communication, and healthy conflict resolution—they absorb a blueprint for future relationships and emotional security.

The home environment acts as their very first classroom.

Here are a few ways these everyday actions shape a child's understanding of love:

✅Role Modeling: Children internalize how parents communicate, handle disagreements, and express appreciation.

✅Emotional Safety: A stable, warm, and forgiving environment teaches kids that love is patient and consistent rather than earned or conditional.

✅Generational Patterns: The atmosphere of the home breaks or repeats generational habits, as they will eventually mirror what they experience.

INVEST YOUR TIME IN GOD🙏🕰️⌚️⏰⏳
“My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.” Psalm 31:15

If you make time with God your first priority, everything else in your life will fall into place. The world is full of distractions, but seeking God first will bring you clarity, peace, and direction.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Time spent with God is never wasted. It strengthens your faith, renews your mind, and prepares you for what’s ahead. When you invest in your relationship with Him, He will guide your steps, provide for your needs, and fight your battles.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8
