The Covenant of God and Man

Ang pakigsaad usa ka balaan nga relasyon nga nagbugkos sa Dios ug tawo. Sukad nga nakasala ang tawo, gipahimutang sa Dios ang iyang plano nga luwason ang katawhan sa paghari sa sala. Ang paghalad ni Hesus sa iyang lawas ug dugo mao ang pakigsaad sa Dios sa tawo alang sa kapasayluan sa sala.

Adunay kinabuhi nga walay katapusan kang Hesus kung kita mutuo Kaniya nga atong Ginoo ug Manluluwas!

(Translation)
A covenant is a sacred binding relationship between God and humanity. Since man's first sin, God's plan to save mankind from the dominion of sin had been laid down. The offering of Jesus' body and blood is God's covenant to man for the forgiveness of sins.

There is eternal life in Jesus when we believe in Him as our Lord and Savior!

Preparing for The Second Coming of Christ

Bag-o ang pagbalik ni Hesus, adunay pagbiya sa ilang pagtuo sa mga magtutuo ug mahitabo ang dakong paglutos. Busa, ang mga Kristohanon giawhag nga magpabilin diha sa ilang pagtuo aron makadawat sa ilang ganti. Alang sa mga dili pa magtutuo, aduna pay panahon sa paghinulsol. Tuohi ug dawata si Hesus nga imong Ginoo ug Manluluwas!

(Translation)
Before the second coming of Jesus, there will be falling away of believers and the great tribulation will happen. Therefore, Christians are encouraged to hold on to their holy faith and receive their rewards. For the non-believers, there is still time to repent. Believe and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior!

The Assurance for Holy Life

Ang Dios nga nagtawag kanato balaan busa magkinabuhi pud kita nga balaan (1 Pedro 1:15). Ang balaan nagpasabot kini nga walay ikasaway ug putli.

Atong ihatag sa Dios ang tanang dungog ug himaya pinaagi sa:

☑️ pagtugyan sa atong kaugalingon ingon nga buhing halad, balaan ug makapahimuot Kaniya
☑️ pagsunod Kaniya isip nga mga anak sa Dios
☑️ pagkinabuhi nga mga anak sa kahayag

(Translation)
God who called us is holy so we should be holy in all we do (1 Peter 1:15). Holy means blameless and pure.

Let us give God all the praises and glory due Him by:

☑️ presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him
☑️ following Him as dear children of God
☑️ walking as children of light

1 Thessalonians 4:23-24 (NIV)
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

Christ's Church

Ang simbahan "ekklesia" kini sa Griyego nga pinulongan nga nagpasabot ug "panagtigom" o "panagtapok." Ang Simbahan dili kini usa ka pisikal nga templo apan mga katawhan kini nga gitawag gikan sa makasasala nga kinabuhi ngadto sa matarong nga kinabuhi. Aduna kini 3 ka mga pangunang mga buluhaton:

☑️ Pagwali ("kerygma") - Mateo 28:19-20
☑️ Panag-uban ("koinonia") - 1 Juan 1:3
☑️ Pag-alagad ("diakonia") - 1 Pedro 4:10

Kay si Hesus ang ulo sa simbahan, bisag kinsa nga midawat ug mituo Kaniya usa na ka buhi nga miyembro sa simbahan, ang lawas. Pinaagi kang Hesu-Kristo, kita ang Iyang simbahan!

(Translation)
Church is "ekklesia" in Greek which translates to "assembly" or "gathering." The Church is not a physical temple but a people called out of a sinful life into a righteous life. It has 3 primary tasks:

☑️ Preaching ("kerygma") - Matthew 28:19-20
☑️ Fellowship ("koinonia") - 1 John 1:3
☑️ Serving ("diakonia") - 1 Peter 4:10

As Jesus is the head of the church, anyone who has accepted and believed in Him is considered a living member of the church, the body. Through Jesus Christ, we are His church!

Matthew 16:18 (NIV)
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Unsa may pasabot nga makig-uban kang Hesus?

Ang pakig-uban nagpasabot sa pagpaambit sa suod nga hunahuna ug pagbati. Usa kini ka lawom nga espirituwal nga koneksyon ngadto sa uban. Sa pakig-uban kang Hesus, mao kini ang atong mga kasigurohan:

☑️ Pagdasig sa Iyang mga Pulong
☑️ Mapadayag ang kamatuoran
☑️ Panalipod pinaagi sa pag-ampo
☑️ Makabaton ug kabag-ohan

Busa, duol kita kang Hesus ug magpabilin kita diha Kaniya!

What does it mean to commune with Jesus?

Communion means sharing intimate thought and feeling. It is deep spiritual connection with others. In communing with Jesus, we have these assurances:

☑️ Encouragement to have His Word
☑️ Revelation will be known
☑️ Protection thru prayer
☑️ Attain revival

Therefore, let's come to Jesus and remain in Him!
