What a glorious reminder that the Gospel does not merely change our destination—it changes our lives.
Yesterday, Pastor Robert Ticzon preached from 2 Corinthians 5:17–20 with the message, "I Cannot Refuse."
The Word of God confronted and challenged every believer with this undeniable truth: if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old life has passed away, and a new life has begun. Salvation is not simply a decision we make—it is a miracle God performs. Therefore, a transformed heart must produce a transformed life.
The message called us:
• To demonstrate the miracle of transformation.
The world does not need to hear empty professions of faith; it needs to see the power of Christ displayed through lives that have truly been redeemed. A changed life is the loudest testimony of a saving God.
• To be devoted to the mandate of representation.
We are not our own. We are ambassadors of the King of kings, sent into a broken world to reflect His holiness, proclaim His truth, and live for His glory. Every believer has been commissioned to represent Christ wherever God has placed them.
• To declare the message of reconciliation.
The Gospel is not ours to keep—it is ours to proclaim. God has entrusted His Church with the ministry of reconciliation, calling sinners to repent and be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. Until Christ returns, this sacred commission remains our highest priority. We cannot refuse what our Savior has commanded.
May we never settle for being hearers of the Word alone. Let us be living testimonies of God's transforming grace, faithful ambassadors of Jesus Christ, and bold proclaimers of the only message that has the power to save souls.
