Grateful to be with our main Mass presider for Day 2 of the Convention, Most Rev. Marcelino Antonio “Junie” Maralit Jr., D.D., Chairman of the CBCP-ECY (Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines - Episcopal Commission on Youth), and Bishop of the Diocese of San Pablo.

In his homily, he reminded the young people to remain steadfast and strong in faith amid the fast-paced world of social media and the rapid advancement of technology through AI. He also encouraged everyone to become missionaries of Christ, echoing Pope Francis’ message that the youth are the “NOW” of the Church. 🙏✨

“Peace be with you.” 🤍✨

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus enters a room filled with fear and uncertainty, yet His first words are peace. Even when the disciples felt lost and afraid, Christ met them where they were and reminded them that they were never alone. 🌿

Just like the disciples, there are moments when our hearts feel troubled or weary. But through the Holy Spirit, God continues to strengthen, guide, and send us out with courage and purpose. 🙏

May this TGIF Night be a moment to pause, breathe, and receive the peace that only Christ can give. Let us continue to become instruments of His love, forgiveness, and light in the lives of others. 🕊️✨

As we conclude our final Pre-Convention Activity, we continue to reflect on last Sunday’s Gospel — reminding us that every blessing and strength comes from God. After a meaningful week of Empower Up through outreach, fellowship, team building, and community encounters, may we never forget the true source of all these blessings.

As we prepare for the National Convention, may we continue to grow in faith, unity, and service as one community. 🤍

What a beautiful way to end a meaningful and unforgettable week together. 💖🙌

After days filled with outreach programs, service, encounters, and shared experiences, FCCY Davao spent the final day of Empower Up Week simply enjoying each other’s company through a bonding and outing activity as one family. 🤍✨

Today became a celebration of all the memories, laughter, friendships, lessons, and moments we shared throughout this journey. From serving different communities to growing deeper in faith together, Empower Up Week reminded us that beyond every activity lies the beauty of connection, unity, and God’s presence in the people around us. 🌈🙏

As we reflected on the whole week, our hearts became full of gratitude for every encounter, every helping hand, every smile, and every person who became part of this meaningful experience. Truly, Empower Up Week 2026 was not only about giving back to the community, but also about strengthening our relationship with one another and with God. 💫💖

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported, helped organize, welcomed, accommodated, and journeyed with us throughout this entire week. Your love, effort, and generosity made Empower Up Week 2026 possible and memorable for all of us. 🌟🤍
