I just realized how important prayer is, even for the small things. Big or small, prayers truly work.
The other day, my husband wanted to use the walkpad, but we couldn’t find the remote. I started to worry because I thought I had accidentally thrown it out while cleaning the cabinet. I even asked the seller if the walkpad could be used without the remote, and they said no—and unfortunately, they don’t sell remotes separately.
I was so worried that we wouldn’t be able to use the walkpad anymore, but I decided to pray. I said, “Lord, please show me the remote. Please make a miracle, Lord. Even if I threw it out, please make it appear somewhere in the house.”
At nearly 2 a.m., as I was searching everywhere, a thought came to me: many of our lost items end up falling behind the cabinet under the TV. I checked there—and to my great joy, there it was! The remote was right there.
I realized that if I had found it easily, I wouldn’t have appreciated it as much. Sometimes, God allows us to lose something for a while so we can truly appreciate it when He helps us find it.
Prayer works. Big or small, He cares about it all.
