With grateful hearts, we joyfully celebrated the 54th Founding Anniversary of First Davao City General Baptist Church with the inspiring theme:

"𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗺, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱"

The celebration began with heartfelt testimonies and inspiring presentations from our children and women’s ministry, reminding us of God’s faithfulness across generations. We then gathered in worship. lifting our voices in praise and thanskgiving to God. A special Father’s Day tribute honored the godly fathers whose love, sacrifice, and leadership continue to bless our families and church.

We were greatly encouraged by the powerful message delivered by Rev. Glenn Mark Awe. He challenged us to remain steadfast in our faith by remembering three important truths:

• Know whom you stand for.
• Know whom you serve.
• Know whom you share Christ with.

As we reflect on God’s goodness throughout the past 54 years, we were reminded that His faithfulness is the foundation of our church, and His mission continues to call us forward. The celebration concluded with joyful fellowship lunch, laughter, and thanksgiving together.

To God alone be all the glory! May He continue to strengthen First Davao City General Baptist Church as we Stand Firm in faith and Reach Forward in His mission for generations to come.✨🙏🏻

It was indeed a fun and faith-filled weekend for the 29 campers who joined this year’s 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩, held last May 22-23, 2026 at Samal Ysla Beach Resort, Samal Island, Davao del Norte.

This year's Camp theme was “𝑰𝑵𝑭𝑳𝑼𝑬𝑵𝑪𝑬: 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒏 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒉, 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔“ with the theme verse from Matthew 5:16. The camp focuses on being the light of this world of confusion from the truth over trends.

The youth had their first lecture session with Ms. Jerose Ann Pendio about differentiating biblical truths over world views . Discipleship lessons were also discussed during the second session by Ptr. Kenneth Maputol, Ptr. Jonathan Terrante, and Ms. Anne Obial.

During the Mission’s Night, Ptr. Mat Murphy shared his missionary journey and inspired the youth to actively participate in spreading the gospel. The youth also showcased their creativity as they wore their DIY united nations attire and perform their dance drama.

On the following day, 5 young people decided to follow Jesus through water baptism, publicly declaring their faith in Christ. Trust and teamwork was also exercised during the team building session.

The camp ended with prayer, reflection and testimony from all the things that God taught the youth throughout the camp.

We would like to thank all the Camp staffs, church members and sponsors who prayed and gave their time and extend their help through finances for the camp to be successful. Above all, to our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Source of everything, who provides a wonderful weather during the entire camp, who gives us wisdom making this camp possible.

Glory and Honor belongs to God alone!
