Finding the desire of you Heart ♥️🧐
📓Scripture: 1 Samuel 9-10
Intro:
Tanan man g**o ta naay ginatinguha, diba? Gusto nato makahuman skwela, gusto nato naa tay opportunity makab-ot or naa tay gusto na ma-give favor sa Ginoo satong mga pag-ampo. And this short topic is all about finding the true blessings that comes from the Lord. Diba no? Like katesting mo anang naa moy gusto paliton, then na-acquired na ninyo, then gisawaan na ninyo, then toa napod naay bago kato napod inyung gusto no? lain jud basta satoang heart gikan ang atong mga desire no kay makalinlang jud ba no? 😂 ayaw jud mog padala sa heart kay makadaot jud na.
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
kung inquire ka satong heart, you will never be contented. Busa ayaw mo too anang follow you follow you dreams. Only in God through His words we can find true contentment og peace satong life.
📓Ecclesiastes 3:11... —He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. ♾️
God created the heart and so He knows what will satisfy it. It's Jesus. ✝️
📌Okay? so balik ta satong topic no. In this passage in Samuel. Mabasa nato diri na in this time they were looking for a King over Israel. And as they were looking, a man named Kish has a son name Saul. There on that day some of the donkeys are lost then dili nila makit an they expanded their search pero dili jud nila makit an. It was just that time naa na sila sa lugar ni Prophet Samuel sige lang pangita sa donkeys. and they decidedna hapiton nalang nila og mangayu sila advice kung asa makit an ang mga donkeys. Karun timing kaayu kay naa didto si Samuel sa town na ilang gitoohan na naa si Samuel (kay si Samuel daghan ni siyag mga lakaw). Then the day before they came over to Samuel God spoke to Samuel said na naay muabot na ulitawo sa imoa ugma nangita sa imoa mao to himoang hari. And now as Samuel met Saul, Samuel instructed him what to do.
📓1 Samuel 9:19 "I am the seer," Samuel replied. "Go up ahead of me to the high place, for today you are to eat with me, and in the morning I will send you on your way and will tell you all that is in your heart.
You know Saul's desire to be a king over Israel was in his heart all along but maskin siya wala siya kabalo na isa pod diay na sa iyahang desire. Then Samuel even told him about it which he was unaware of.
Deceitful jud ang heart no 😢? abi ni Samuel what his heart's desire is to find the lost donkeys but lain jud diay na butang ang gi set na desire sa Ginoo sa iyang heart all along.
So katong pag ingun na ni Samuel kay Saul na mahimo siyang hari, of course as a normal person na overwhelm jud siya diba? example ikaw ba naman ingnan kag ikaw ang mahimong presidente sa pilipinas. Nga wala man intawon kay kalibutan ana nga butanga. naturally ma overwhelm ka diba? maka feel and maka ask ka Lord kaya ba nako ni? Lord will ba nimo ni? Lord murag dili man kay lisud jud ni para sakoa. And so there's so much going on sa head ni Saul. Probably anxiety, but God changed his heart and He began to prophesy with the prophets.
📌📓Lesson:
Lesson sa story is dili tanan nga naa sa atong heart kay mao jud ang atong gusto. Heart is deceitful, and it won't tell us ahead of time that: that desire is just temporal. And so when you are sking for contentment always incline to God for He searches the heart, Dili jud maliba ang Ginoo kay Siya ang nagbuhat ana. Be it those desires/will ni God can trigger some depression or anxiety or bliss. Always ask God na ubanon ka sa tanang rota sa imong desire sa imong heart. And once the desire/will of God is fulfilled,...
📓1 Samuel 10:7 Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.🤸♂️
God called you not to be tainted but to be blessed which we can live our lives with our desires and contentment according sa Iyahang purpose.
