We honor the saints who inspire us and remember our dearly departed through prayer, Holy Mass, and acts of remembrance.

As we prepare for Christmas, may our hearts become a worthy dwelling place for Jesus. Let us celebrate not only with gifts, but with faith, love, generosity, and service.

As Lectors, may we continue to proclaim the Word of God with reverence and allow His Word to transform our lives and inspire others.

On this 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, we give thanks for our dedicated Parish Lectors who faithfully served at today’s Holy Mass. Through their voices, God’s Word is proclaimed and shared with our parish community.

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the call to follow Christ—not by seeking comfort or recognition, but by taking up our cross and walking faithfully in His footsteps.

𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 🙏📖

On August 23, 2026, the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, we joyfully give thanks for the opportunity to serve the Lord as a lector during the celebration of the Holy Mass.

Through the proclamation of the Gospel from Matthew, we are reminded of Jesus’ question to His disciples: “But who do you say that I am?” May our service at the ambo always be more than simply reading—it is an invitation to encounter Christ and to proclaim our faith with conviction and humility.

May every word we proclaim help lead hearts closer to Jesus and strengthen His Church. May we continue to serve not for recognition, but with love, reverence, and a sincere heart. ❤️⛪

A Faith That Perseveres | 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time📖🙏

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the beautiful and courageous faith of the Canaanite woman. Despite the difficulties and seeming silence she encountered, she continued to approach Jesus with humility, trust, and unwavering faith.

Her persistence teaches us that true faith does not give up when prayers seem unanswered. It continues to trust in God’s mercy and believes that even a small word from the Lord can bring healing and hope.

We are also grateful for our dedicated lectors who served at today’s Sunday Mass. Thank you for proclaiming God’s Word with faith, reverence, and love. May your ministry continue to inspire our community to listen to God and live His Word each day.

May the example of the Canaanite woman strengthen us to pray with perseverance, trust without giving up, and believe wholeheartedly in God’s mercy.

Last Sunday, August 9, 2026, on the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, our dedicated Lectors faithfully served during the celebration of the Holy Mass, proclaiming God’s Word with reverence, devotion, and love.

The Gospel from St. Matthew, reminds us of Peter walking on the water toward Jesus and the powerful words of our Lord: “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”

May we, like Peter, learn to keep our eyes fixed on Christ even when the storms of life make us afraid. May the proclamation of God’s Word through our lectors continue to inspire our community to trust, believe, and faithfully follow Jesus.

To our beloved lectors, thank you for your generous service and for being instruments in proclaiming the Good News. May God bless and strengthen you always in this beautiful ministry.

As we joyfully celebrate the 78th Parochial Fiesta of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, Archbishop of Davao, for graciously presiding over the Holy Eucharistic Celebration.

We are also deeply thankful to the concelebrating priests who joined us in this sacred occasion. Your presence, prayers, and spiritual guidance have made this celebration even more meaningful and memorable.
