📢 44TH SUNDAY CHURCH MEETING

📖 Series: THE BOOK OF JAMES

🔥 THE WAR WITHIN: Why We Fight & How God Brings Peace

📖 James 4:1–3 (ERV)

Have you ever wondered why we sometimes fight, argue, get jealous, or become easily frustrated?

James gives us an honest answer: “They come from the selfish desires that make war inside you.” — James 4:1

Sometimes, the biggest battle is not happening around us…

It is happening within us. ❤️‍🩹

💥 3 TRUTHS FROM JAMES 4:1–3

1️⃣ THE REAL BATTLE IS OFTEN INSIDE THE HEART

What happens in our heart eventually comes out in our words, attitudes, and actions.

📖 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23

2️⃣ UNCONTROLLED DESIRES PRODUCE CONFLICT

When our desires become more important than God's will, frustration can turn into jealousy, anger, and conflict.

📖 “Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.” — Galatians 5:26

3️⃣ SOMETIMES WE EVEN BRING OUR SELFISH DESIRES TO GOD

Prayer is not just about asking God to give us what we want.

It is about aligning our hearts with what God wants.

📖 “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness…” — Matthew 6:33

🌿 4 PRACTICAL STEPS TO WIN THE WAR WITHIN

🔎 1. EXAMINE YOUR HEART
“Search me, God, and know my heart…” — Psalm 139:23–24

🙏 2. SURRENDER YOUR DESIRES
Submit what you want to God and trust that His will is better than ours.

🤍 3. CHOOSE HUMILITY
Have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. — Philippians 2:5

🕊️ 4. PURSUE PEACE
“As far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” — Romans 12:18

❤️ A QUESTION TO REFLECT ON:

What is God revealing about my heart today?

Before we ask God to change the people around us, maybe we need to pray:

“Lord, change my heart first.”

Because when God changes our hearts, He can change our relationships.

And when God brings peace inside us, peace can flow through us. 🕊️

43rd SUNDAY CHURCH MEETING

Text: JAMES 3:13-18

Series: THE BOOK of JAMES

Theme: TWO KINDS OF WISDOM: THE FRUIT REVEALS THE ROOT

"If you are wise and understand God's ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom." — James 3:13 (NLT)

We often think wisdom is measured by how much we know, how well we speak, or how many accomplishments we have.

But James reminds us of a life-changing truth:

True wisdom is not measured by what you know—it is proven by how you live.

There are two kinds of wisdom:

🌍 Worldly Wisdom
• Driven by jealousy and selfish ambition.
• Produces pride, conflict, division, and disorder.
• Looks successful on the outside but destroys from within.

👑 Godly Wisdom
• Pure, peace-loving, gentle, merciful, impartial, and sincere.
• Produces humility, unity, righteousness, and lasting peace.
• Reflects the heart and character of Jesus Christ.

The fruit of your life always reveals the root of your heart.

❓Ask yourself today:

Am I living with worldly wisdom or God's wisdom?
Do my words and actions bring peace or conflict?
Does my life reflect humility or selfish ambition?

May we not only hear God's Word but live it with humble obedience. Let us ask the Lord to replace pride with humility, envy with contentment, and selfish ambition with a heart that seeks His glory above all else.

"Those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness." — James 3:18 (NLT)

🙏 Join us this Sunday as we study James 3:13–18 and discover how the fruit of our lives reveals the true root of our hearts.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21

• Our Words Reveal Our Spiritual Maturity (James 3:1–2)
• Our Words Have the Power to Direct Life (James 3:3–5)
• We Cannot Tame the Tongue Without God (James 3:6–8)

🙏 41st SUNDAY CHURCH MEETING 🙌

LIVING FAITH IS DEMONSTRATED BY GOOD WORKS
📖 James 2:14–26

"Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." — James 2:17

Many people claim to have faith, but James asks a deeper question:

Is your faith truly alive?

Saving faith is not merely something we profess with our lips—it is revealed through a transformed life that loves, obeys, serves, and follows Jesus Christ.

✨ Key Truth:
Good works are not the root of salvation—they are the fruit of salvation.

Come with an open heart as we worship God, study His Word, and allow Him to transform our lives.

Join us every Sunday at 4PM, as we discover the difference between dead faith and living faith and examine whether our lives display the reality of the gospel.

📍 Everyone is welcome! Bring your family and friends.

💒 39th SUNDAY CHURCH MEETING

📖 The Book of James Series

✨ Theme: The Book of James
Topic: Genuine Faith
📍 James 1:19–27

True faith is more than attending church or knowing Bible verses—it is seen in the way we live every day.

💡 4 Marks of Genuine Faith

👂 1. Listen to God Before You React
"Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." — James 1:19
Before reacting with emotion, pause, pray, and listen to God's wisdom.

📖 2. Practice What You Learn
"Do not merely listen to the word... Do what it says." — James 1:22
God's Word is meant to transform our lives, not just inform our minds.

🗣️ 3. Watch Your Words
"The tongue has the power of life and death." — Proverbs 18:21
Our words reveal what is in our hearts. Speak words that encourage, heal, and glorify God.

❤️ 4. Love People and Live Holy
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows... and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." — James 1:27
Real faith is demonstrated through compassion, service, and a life set apart for Christ.

🙏 This Week's Challenge:
✔️ Listen before you react.
✔️ Obey God's Word.
✔️ Speak life.
✔️ Love through action.
✔️ Pursue holiness every day.

✨ Genuine faith is not just something we say—it is something we live.

30/06/2026

🌅 What if your greatest trial is preparing you for God's greatest purpose?

Life doesn't always go the way we planned.

Some are carrying burdens no one else can see.
Some are waiting for breakthrough.
Some are struggling financially.
Some are fighting silent battles.
Some are wondering, "Lord, are You still with me?"

The Book of James gives us a powerful reminder:

God's goodness is not determined by our circumstances. His goodness is rooted in His unchanging character.

📖Theme: The Book of James
Message: God's Goodness in Every Circumstance
Text: James 1:9–18

Together, we'll discover:
✨ Why earthly riches never last, but treasures in Christ are eternal.
✨ How our true identity is found in Jesus—not in our successes or failures.
✨ Why God never tempts us, but faithfully strengthens us through every trial.
✨ How every good and perfect gift comes from our loving Heavenly Father.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
— James 1:17

No matter where you are in life today, remember this:
God is still faithful.
God is still working.
God is still good.

Come expecting God to speak through His Word, strengthen your faith, and remind you that His grace is sufficient in every season.

🙏 Invite your family, your friends, your neighbors, and anyone who needs hope.

See you every Sunday !

"Because God's goodness never changes—even when our circumstances do." ❤️

📖 The Book of James Series: Wisdom for Every Believer

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." — James 1:5 (NIV)

Every day, we make decisions that shape our lives, families, ministries, and future. God never intended us to rely on our own understanding. He invites us to seek His wisdom.

📚 Knowledge vs. Wisdom

Knowledge is understanding God's truth, His Word, and His revelation.

Wisdom is the God-given ability to apply that truth in our daily lives.

1️⃣ God Is the Source of True Wisdom

"For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2:6)

All true wisdom begins with God. Jesus Christ is the treasure of all wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). When we seek Him, He generously gives us the guidance we need.

2️⃣ Faith Is Necessary for Receiving Wisdom

"Without faith it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 11:6)

God calls us to trust His character and depend on His promises. When we pray, we must believe that He hears us and will answer according to His perfect will (Mark 11:24).

3️⃣ Double-Mindedness Produces Instability

"Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do." (James 1:8)

A divided heart weakens faith. Jesus reminds us that no one can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). Instead, let our prayer be:

"Teach me your ways, O LORD... Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you." (Psalm 86:11)

✨ Application:

Seek God's wisdom before making decisions.
Pray with faith, not doubt.
Stay fully committed to Christ with an undivided heart.
Live out God's truth every day.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for generously giving wisdom to those who ask. Help us trust You completely, remove every doubt from our hearts, and lead us to walk faithfully in Your truth. Give us wisdom that honors You and blesses others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

3rd Bible Study: Turn Away from Sin

When we follow Jesus Christ, God calls us not only to believe in Him but also to turn away from sin. Salvation is by grace through faith, but genuine faith produces a changed life. A Christian is not perfect, but a Christian should be growing in holiness and obedience to God.

2 Timothy 2:19
"The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity."

As Christians, repentance is not just feeling sorry for our sins—it is turning away from them and following Jesus with obedience and faith. God knows those who belong to Him, and He gives us the strength through the Holy Spirit to live a life that honors Him.

🙏 Let us examine our hearts, confess our sins, and continue growing in our walk with Christ.

Key Lesson: True faith in Christ leads to a changed life.

Thank you to everyone who joined our 3rd Bible Study. May God's Word continue to transform us and draw us closer to Him.
