Mga bata karon, kinahanglan kaayo nila madungog ang pulong sa Ginoong Jesus. Sa kalibutan nga daghan og mga pagsulay, impluwensya, ug mga butang nga makapalayo kanila sa Dios, importante nga sayo pa lamang ilang mailhan kung kinsa si Jesus ug unsa kadako ang Iyang gugma alang kanila. Dili lamang sila kinahanglan og edukasyon ug mga butang nga materyal, apan labaw sa tanan, kinahanglan nila si Jesus sa ilang kinabuhi.
Kinahanglan nila si Jesus nga mahimong ilang Ginoo, Dios, ug Manluluwas. Atong tudloan sila sa Pulong sa Dios, tudloan sila sa pag-ampo, ug ipakita kanila pinaagi sa atong kinabuhi ang gugma ug grasya ni Cristo. Ang atong pag-alagad sa mga bata dili lamang usa ka programa, kundili usa ka oportunidad nga ipugas ang Pulong sa Dios sa ilang mga kasingkasing nga mahimong magdala kanila ngadto sa pagtuo ug kaluwasan diha kang Jesus Cristo.

“Tugoti ninyo ang mga gagmayng bata nga moduol Kanako, ug ayaw ninyo sila pugngi, kay ang gingharian sa Dios iya sa mga sama kanila.” — Marcos 10:14

Hinaot nga dili nato kalimtan nga ang matag bata usa ka kinabuhi nga bililhon sa atubangan sa Dios. Padayon nato silang higugmaon, tudloan, ampoan, ug dad-on ngadto kang Jesus, aron sila makaila Kaniya isip ilang Ginoo ug Manluluwas. Ang atong pagpugas karon mahimong bunga alang sa ilang kaugmaon ug alang sa gingharian sa Dios.

Teacher's Retreat – Christ Our Living Hope Baptist Church

We thank God for the opportunity to attend the Teachers' Retreat of Christ Our Living Hope Baptist Church. We were blessed by the message of Ptr. Felix Castañeros Ambingan based on Colossians 3:23:
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men." (KJV)
His message reminded us that whatever we do in ministry, we should do it wholeheartedly for the Lord and not for the praise of people. As teachers, we are called to serve faithfully, lovingly, and with excellence because our service is an offering to God.
We were also encouraged by the teaching of Ate Josephine C. Ambingan Sunshine Ambs about the four temperaments in spiritual life:
Melancholic – Thoughtful, organized, faithful, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. They should guard against perfectionism, fear, and discouragement.
Sanguine – Cheerful, enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing. They encourage others with joy but should be careful about inconsistency and lack of discipline.
Choleric – Strong-willed, confident, determined, and a natural leader. They accomplish goals effectively but need to develop patience, humility, and compassion.
Phlegmatic – Calm, peaceful, dependable, patient, and a good listener. They promote unity but should avoid passivity and become more willing to take initiative.

This retreat reminded us that God created each of us with unique strengths and weaknesses. As we submit to the Holy Spirit, He transforms our character so that we can serve Him more effectively. May we continue to teach God's Word with faithful hearts and always remember to do everything for the glory of the Lord.
