It is with great joy and gratitude that we welcome the Congregational Leadership Team, led by Brother Lawrence Krueger, CFA, Congregational Leader, as they gather here in Davao City for their meeting.

Entrusted with the leadership, governance, and overall direction of the Congregation of Alexian Brothers, the Congregational Leadership Team plays an important role in guiding the Congregation in living out its Mission, Charism, and Healing Ministry.

For the Philippines Sub-Unit, having our Congregational Leaders here in Davao City is truly an honor and a blessing. Their presence brings us a renewed sense of connection as one Alexian family, united in faith, fraternity, compassion, and service.

This morning, we gathered in prayer and thanksgiving at St. Alexius Chapel as we witnessed the Sending-Off Ceremony for Brother Henry Anthony Pabualan, CFA, during the Holy Mass.

Brother Henry Anthony will soon embark on a meaningful journey to Knock, Ireland, where he will participate for four months in the Cross-Cultural and International Collaboration of the Congregation of Alexian Brothers. This experience will be an opportunity to deepen fraternity, share experiences and learnings, embrace different cultures, and strengthen the Alexian Brothers’ mission of compassionate service across borders.

As he begins this new chapter, may God guide Brother Henry Anthony's steps, enrich his heart with new experiences, and continue to inspire him in his vocation and service. May he be a bridge of friendship and fraternity between communities, bringing with him the spirit of the Alexian Brothers and the healing mission we share.

We send him our prayers, love, and warmest wishes in his journey to Ireland. 🇮🇪🙏

Go forth with faith, serve with love, and return with a heart filled with grace and new stories to share.

May St. Alexius accompany him and intercede for him throughout his journey.

Today, August 16, 2026, we pause with grateful hearts as we celebrate the 26th Founding Anniversary of the Alexian Brothers Health and Wellness Center, Inc. (ABHWC).

Twenty-six years is more than a number—it is a story of God’s faithfulness, written through countless lives touched, prayers answered, wounds healed, and moments of hope shared.

Through the years, God has entrusted ABHWC with a beautiful mission: to be an instrument of His healing and compassion. In every patient cared for, every hand extended in service, every kind word spoken, and every life made a little better, we see glimpses of His love at work.

As we look back, we give thanks—not only for what we have accomplished, but for the people God has placed along our journey: our patients, families, doctors, healthcare workers, employees, partners, benefactors, and all who have faithfully carried the mission forward.

Today, we celebrate with gratitude for the past, faith for the present, and hope for the future.

May the spirit of St. Alexius continue to inspire us to serve with humility, compassion, and love, always remembering that our work is more than a profession—it is a mission of healing and a ministry of care.

📢 SUNDAY MASS ANNOUNCEMENT:
Join us tomorrow, Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 8:00 AM for a Holy Mass at the Chapel of St. Alexius located within the premises of the Alexian Brothers Health and Wellness Center in Matina, Davao City. This celebration also marks the 5th Novena Mass in preparation for the Feast of St. Alexius.

The gate and chapel will open at 6:30 AM to welcome all devotees and mass goers.

Let us come together in prayer as we continue our novena journey, seeking the intercession of St. Alexius and giving thanks for God's many blessings.
