❤️ BLD Global Community Reaches Out to Earthquake-Affected Families in Glan, Sarangani
The BLD Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community - Global , through the BLD Davao District, extended its support to more than 250 families in Glan, Sarangani, who continue to stay in temporary shelters following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck the area on June 8, 2026.
After repacking the donated goods to make distribution easier and more orderly, BLD Davao members traveled to Kiogam, Ilaya, Glan on Saturday, August 8, 2026, to personally bring much-needed 2nd batch of assistance to the affected families. The 1st batch of 500+ packs was delivered last July 4.
The relief packs included mineral water, rice, canned goods, noodles, sugar, coffee, dried fish, and other toiletries —simple necessities that can make a meaningful difference to families still recovering from the disaster.
BLD also provided funds to Jose Abad Santos families thru San Pablo Parish Archdiocesan Social Action Committee
