Let us hear the testimony of one of the students of OCC ( Operation Christmas Child ) Graduates in Center Bala Alliance Church. He will share his journey of faith and learning has transformed his life. May his story inspire us to serve our community with greater passion.
Good morning to all of you. I am Diosdado Padang Olaguir. I used to live in Bohol. I am 12 years old, and I am currently in Grade 5.
My past life was very difficult. Sometimes we had nothing to eat, and sometimes we experienced hardships. We went through those trials when we were still in Bohol, especially when we were hit by the typhoon in Bohol.
My mother and father did not get along well, and now my siblings are separated for a long time. Ever since I joined the OCC, I learned about the word of God and I came to understand the love of my God. And the difference in my life now is that it is much easier. I am happy with my mom and siblings, along with Tatay Henry who stands by us as our second father. And now, we always go to church every Sunday. Before, we did not go to church, but now we go to church to know more about God. There is a huge change in my life now.
My dream when I grow up is to become a pastor just like Kuya Raven, so I can help my family and other people, so that we can all go to heaven, and so that we can know more about God. Thank you very much.
