Happiest Birthday, Dr. Vun! 🎉🎂

Today, Christ Covenant Church joyfully honors and celebrates the life God has entrusted to you. Thank you for being a faithful mentor, teacher, and spiritual father to many of us. Your integrity, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to the Lord continue to shape our church and strengthen our walk with Christ.

We are especially grateful for the precious season when we were mentored under your leadership during our time at GCC Malaysia — a time we will never forget. It was truly a privilege and a grace from God to learn from you and your leadership. We will always be thankful for the opportunity you gave us to grow, to be guided, and to be strengthened in our calling. That season continues to bear fruit in our lives and ministry today.

Your life reminds us what it means to lead with humility, courage, and obedience to God’s calling. Thank you for faithfully investing in us and for continually pointing us closer to Jesus.

We pray that the Lord blesses you with long life, good health, renewed strength, and overflowing joy as He continues to use you to impact more lives for His glory.

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree… they will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.” — Psalm 92:12–14

Happy blessed birthday, Dr. Vun! We love and appreciate you so much. 🙏✨

Obedience doesn’t always happen on a mountaintop like Abraham and Isaac. More often, it shows up in the quiet, unseen moments of daily life like..

🤍 Choosing honesty when it might cost you an opportunity.
🤍 Letting go of a relationship that God is asking you to surrender.
🤍 Forgiving someone who hurt you deeply.
🤍 Trusting God with your finances, your plans, your timeline.
..especially when obedience feels inconvenient or uncomfortable.

Abraham was asked to offer Isaac, the very promise he waited for. In the same way, God often asks us to lay down things we hold tightly—not because He wants to take from us, but because He wants our trust.

"Obedience stretches our faith when we don’t understand the outcome, when it feels unfair, or when it costs us control."

Christianity isn’t just about believing in Jesus—it’s about following Him daily. Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23). That daily cross may look like resisting temptation, choosing humility over pride, patience over anger, or faith over fear. It’s surrendering our flesh again and again, even when no one else sees it.

Obedience may cost us comfort, but it produces peace.
It may cost us our way, but it leads us to God’s way.

Day 1 of 14

Gratitude is Gold
“In everything give thanks”

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

As we begin these days of prayer and fasting, let’s start with a grateful heart. Jesus looked up and gave thanks before the miracle of the five thousand (Luke 9:16). If the King of Heaven paused to give thanks, so can we.

Take a moment today to quiet your heart and notice the blessings you may have grown used to—evidence of His goodness in your life. The psalmist reminds us not to forget but to praise and remember His gracious deeds (Psalm 103).

Join me in gratitude: what are three things you’re thankful for today? 🙏💛

With joyful tears and grateful hearts, we celebrate together as one church family, kids, youth, and adults. What a beautiful reminder that ministry is not just service, but family. Thank You, Lord, for carrying us through every season of 2025.
“For the joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10
We step into 2026 stronger, united, and full of hope.đź’Ş

As we count down the last Sundays of 2025…
We look back as a ministry and feel how deeply God has carried us.
This year brought tears, battles, and moments we almost gave up,
but it also brought breakthroughs, unity, and a stronger faith.
2025 became a year of tears turned into testimonies,
of worries turned into worship,
of battles turned into breakthroughs within our ministry.

We saw leaders grow, volunteers rise, and hearts return to God.
Through every service and every struggle, God never let go of our ministry.
And as 2025 ends,
we stand as a ministry with eyes more focused,
hearts more surrendered,
and faith more unshakable.

God has been faithful to our church 🙌
and His faithfulness will lead us into the next chapter.

Traveling from Davao to be part of this training, fellowship, and gathering has been a blessing. We pray for God’s continued favor and strength upon everyone involved in this ministry.
