What a joyful and spirit-filled day as our buckaroos and Lil cowpokes gathered for the successful closing program of VBX Cactusville 2026!

Throughout the week, our children learned what it means to be "Called to Follow Jesus" and grew in faith through songs, Bible stories, memory verses, games, and fun-filled activities. Today, they shared their talents, celebrated their achievements, and praised God for His goodness.

Thank you to all the parents, volunteers, wranglers, church leaders, and everyone who helped make this Vacation Bible Experience a memorable success.
Yee-haw! May these young hearts continue to follow Jesus wherever He leads! ❤️🙏

Today’s calling: *Called to Give* 💛

As we end our VBX journey in Cactusville, the children learned that giving means sharing love, kindness, and helping others just like Jesus did. From songs and stories to games and activities, this final day was filled with joy, laughter, and hearts ready to follow Jesus. 🤍

The children of the community are warmly invited to join the VBX (Vacation Bible eXperience) of Astorga Church on May 24–28 and May 30 for the closing program, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

This year’s theme, Cactusville, will bring children on a fun and meaningful journey where they can learn more about Jesus through Bible characters, songs, memory verses, and exciting daily activities. In Cactusville, "where children are called to follow Jesus"

Since the program is station-based, every day will be filled with different experiences and lessons for the children to enjoy.

✨ Stations include:
🔥 Campfire Stories – Bible Story Station
🌅 Sunset Canyon – Prayer Station
🎨 Trading Post – Craft Station
🐎 Wild Horse Corral – Game Station
🍪 Chuckwagon Snacks – Snack Station

Parents are encouraged to let their children join this fun-filled and Christ-centered experience. Everyone is welcome! 🤠🌵

By God’s grace, the Women’s Retreat last May 3, 2026 at Cebulan was a meaningful and joyful gathering for the women of Astorga Church.

Led by Women’s Department Chairman Samedith Epan, the retreat included different activities that helped the women get to know one another better within their care groups and strengthen their bond together. The presence of the elders and the special participation of some spouses made the event even more special.

The Women’s Department would like to thank everyone who supported, joined, and prayed for this activity. Above all, thanks be to God for His guidance, protection, and blessings throughout the retreat. 🙏
