𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’: In response to the devastating effects of the magnitude 7.8 tectonic earthquake that struck parts of Mindanao, personnel of CGECS-SEM joined the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations in Balut Island, Sarangani.

Working alongside fellow Philippine Coast Guard units and partner agencies, CGECS-SEM personnel actively supported the hauling, loading, unloading, and transportation of relief supplies to help ensure the timely delivery of essential assistance to earthquake-affected communities.

Despite long hours, difficult terrain, adverse weather conditions, and demanding operational requirements, the team remained steadfast and committed to accomplishing the mission. Their dedication and teamwork contributed to the efficient movement of relief goods, helping bring immediate aid to those in need.

Through this humanitarian mission, CGECS-SEM reaffirmed its commitment to selfless service, teamwork, and the Philippine Coast Guard's mission of serving the Filipino people in times of disaster and crisis.
