As we joyfully culminate the Season of Creation this coming Sunday, October 5, 2025, we invite everyone to join us in two special events:

🌿 Blessing of Plants and Animals – right after the 8:00 AM Mass, to be presided over by our beloved Auxiliary Bishop of Davao, Most Rev. George Rimando, D.D.
Let us bring our plants and pets to be blessed as signs of God’s creation.

🌍 Earth Hour – from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, we encourage everyone to turn off your electricals as our simple yet meaningful act of caring for our common home.

Together, let us give glory to God, the Creator of heaven and earth, as we close this Season of Creation.

The Parish Summer Youth Camp 2024 is fast approaching! This year, our theme is inspired by the Gospel of Matthew 11:28, where it is written, “Come unto me and I will give you rest.” This message from the Gospel serves as the guiding light for our upcoming Youth Camp.

In one of his homilies, Pope Francis beautifully reminds us of the significance of this Gospel passage. He reflects on Jesus’ invitation to the people of Galilee, particularly the simple, the poor, the sinners, and the marginalized. Jesus' words, "Come to me and I will give you rest," resonate deeply with those who seek solace and hope in their lives.

As we prepare for this year's Youth Camp, we are reminded of the essence of hope that Jesus' words bring to all who hear them. Just like the people who followed Jesus in Galilee, seeking hope and a word of comfort, we too are called to find rest and hope in the teachings of Christ.

As we gather to celebrate the Year of Pilgrims of Hope, we, the St. Jude Youth Apostolate, embrace this theme wholeheartedly: Joyful in Hope! Let us come together as a community, inspired by the message of Jesus, to find rest and solace in his teachings.

Stay tuned for more details on the Parish Summer Youth Camp. Let us embrace the message of hope and rest that Jesus offers to each one of us.

Join us in celebrating the St. Jude Youth Apostolate: Joyful in Hope!
