A spirit-filled weekend unfolded at Gambudes SDA Church, Arakan, North Cotabato as 21 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀-𝗶𝗻-𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 from 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗕 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 participated in the Friend and Companion Progressive Classes last July 4–6, 2025.

With the inspiring leadership of our 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟑 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬, the program was joined by both the young and the elderly—proof that the call to grow and serve knows no age.

Truly, it was more than just a class—it was a movement of hearts drawn closer to Christ. All glory to God for the strength, unity, and commitment shown throughout this journey!

Usa ka makahuluganon nga kasinatian ang among natagamtaman sa AYM Leaders’ Summit sa Southern Philippines Adventist College (S**C). Dili lang kini usa ka panagtigom, kundi usa ka pagtubo sa espirituhanong kinabuhi, pagpadasig sa panaghiusa, ug pagpalig-on sa among panaw sa pag-alagad.

Puno sa kaalam ug inspirasyon ang matag mensahe nga among nadungog. Gipahinumdoman kami nga isip mga batan-ong lider, kami gitawag sa Diyos aron mahimong suga sa uban, magpabiling lig-on sa pananampalataya, ug magpadayon sa pagpangalagad bisan pa sa mga hagit sa kinabuhi.

Kini nga summit usa ka pagpukaw sa among kasingkasing—nga ang among misyon dili lang kutob sa mga programa kundi sa tinuod nga pagkinabuhi uban sa Diyos. Kami nagpaambit og gugma, naglig-onay sa pagtuo, ug nangandam sa mas dagkong buhat alang sa Ginoo.

"Finding God in the Storm"

_Text:_ Psalm 46:1-3, Isaiah 43:2-3, Romans 8:28

_Introduction_

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." - Psalm 46:1

Have you ever felt like your world is being shaken to its core? Like the storm raging outside, life's challenges can be overwhelming. But as Christians, we know that God is our rock, our refuge, and our strength.

_The Storms of Life_

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18

We've all faced storms in life: loss, pain, fear, and uncertainty. The current typhoon devastating our country is a stark reminder of life's unpredictability. But in the midst of chaos, where can we find comfort?

_God's Presence in the Storm_

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." - Psalm 46:1-3

"Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation." - Habakkuk 3:17-18

Imagine a child clinging to their father during a storm. The child doesn't understand the storm, but they trust their father's protection. Similarly, we can trust God's sovereignty and love.

_Commentary:_ God's sovereignty is not about understanding why bad things happen, but trusting His character and purposes.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We live in unprecedented times. The world is plagued by darkness, division, and despair. But as followers of Jesus, we know that we have the answer to the world's cries. We have the hope of eternal life, the love of God, and the power of the Gospel.

*The Biblical Mandate:*

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus commands us to "Go and make disciples of all nations." In Acts 1:8, He says, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." This Great Commission is not optional; it's our divine assignment.

*The Urgency of the Hour:*

We are living in the last days. Jesus is coming soon! The Bible warns us of increasing darkness, deception, and apostasy (2 Timothy 3:1-5, Matthew 24:3-14). But in the midst of chaos, we must proclaim the Good News.

*Why Biblical Preaching Matters:*

1. It's the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).
2. It's the foundation for spiritual growth (1 Peter 2:2).

1. Souls are at stake (Luke 16:19-31).
2. The Gospel is the only solution to humanity's problems (John 14:6).
