BALIK-LANTAW | Parish Night 2026
As the opening salvo of the nine-day nightly activities organized by the LGU of Dauis in celebration of the town’s annual feast, the Assumption of Our Lady Shrine Parish proudly hosted the first night on August 6, 2026.
Chapel officers and representatives came together to share their talents and creativity—from folk dances, modern and kundiman songs, and contemporary dances to beautiful choir performances. More than just a night of entertainment, it became a celebration of community, unity, joy, and faith.
One of the highlights of the evening was the solemn procession of the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of the Assumption, reminding everyone of our shared devotion to our beloved Patroness.
The night came to a beautiful close as the entire community joined in singing “O Birhen de la Asuncion, Patrona sa mga Dauisanon,” uniting every voice in love and devotion to the Mother of God.
“Usa ka gabii sa kalipay. Usa ka komunidad nga nagkahiusa. Usa ka buhing pagtuo.”
