SOLEMNITY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS | The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is celebrated on the Friday after Corpus Christi and is also the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests.

In 1675, Jesus revealed to St. Margaret Mary His desire for this feast, which became a universal celebration of the Church in 1856.

As St. John Paul II said, “This feast reminds us of the mystery of the love of God for the people of all times.”

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Flores de Mayo 2026 | Culmination Day

Yesterday on May 30, 2026, we joyfully celebrated the Culmination Day of Flores de Mayo 2026. As we honor our Blessed Mother Mary, we also give thanks for a month filled with formation, learning, and spiritual growth. May the lessons we have learned through catechism continue to guide us in living as faithful followers of Christ.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the catechists, parents, and children who participated and made this celebration meaningful and successful. We also sincerely thank all the sponsors and generous individuals who supported and contributed from the very beginning of our catechism program.

May Almighty God, through the loving intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, shower abundant blessings, grace, good health, and happiness upon each and every one of you. Your kindness, dedication, and generosity have greatly contributed to the success of this year's Flores de Mayo celebration.

PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O God, who have taught the hearts of the faithful
by the light of the Holy Spirit,
grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise
and ever rejoice in his consolation.

Bring your children, ages 5 and above, to the parish or to your chapel and let them grow in faith while celebrating our devotion to Mary.
