Acts 12:1-18

When God’s people pray, God moves—even in impossible situations. Peter was in prison, but the church prayed without ceasing, and God miraculously made a way for his deliverance.

When anxiety comes, choose to pray. When uncertainty rises, choose to trust. As we surrender our worries to God with thanksgiving, His peace—beyond our understanding—guards our hearts and minds.

Trust God. Pray always. Walk in His peace.

Jesus: The Shelter in Times of Storm
In Mark 4:35–41, Jesus and His disciples encounter a great storm while crossing the sea. As the waves fill the boat, the disciples become afraid, while Jesus remains asleep. When they wake Him, Jesus rebukes the wind and commands the sea, “Peace! Be still!” and immediately, the storm becomes calm.

This story reminds us that Jesus is our shelter in times of storm. Life may bring fear, trials, uncertainty, and situations beyond our control, but we are never alone. Just as Jesus was with His disciples in the boat, He is with us in every storm we face. His presence gives us peace even when the circumstances around us are difficult.

The storm may be strong, but Jesus is stronger. Instead of allowing fear to overcome us, we can trust His presence, power, and faithfulness. When the storms of life come, we can hold on to Jesus, knowing that He is our safe refuge and our source of peace.
