Discovering Christ 5 - The Supremacy of Christ

Are humanity's greatest authorities along their greatest weapons and arsenal are more powerful than Jesus Christ? Does the world's massive wealth and resources rids us of our dire need of HIM? Or does our sophisticated medicine and healthcare eclipse the healing power of God, what can they do about unhealable sickness and diseases as Christ did only through His word? Can the intellect of the world supersedes the knowledge and wisdom of God?

People utter the name of God presumptuously or in vain. They belittle Jesus Christ.
People underestimates hell, they make it as a joke. People have no fear on God, no fear on punishment.

Even so, this is the absolute truth, every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. Believers will bow in worship, the rebels will bow in defeat.
Jesus Christ is supreme in power and glory. Time will come when all the kingdoms of this world will pass away, but only one kingdom will remain, the Kingdom of Christ- the church. And repentance is the only way, the only entrance to the kingdom of God. Kings and queens come and go, human power- pass away. but the Kingship of Jesus Christ never ends never fades. God is the same today yesterday, today, and forever. He is faithful to our ancestors, He is faithful to us, and He will be faithful to our children, and their children, and their children. We wont have to worry about the future, Christ is supreme and faithfully remain in them.

The Jews rejected Their long-awaited King. The Jews denied the throne of David from Him, rejecting Him. But we are blessed that God enables us to receive Christ as our Lord. For no one who puts their trust in the Lord is ever left defeated or abandoned by Him. Now we gentiles receives Christ in the throne of our hearts as our Lord. Because they rejected Christ there is no peace in Israel. That's why Christian even though surrounded by troubles but have peace in their hearts for the Prince of peace is seated in the throne of their hearts.

Blessed is the man whom his King and his God is Jesus Christ.
He rules over us. He oversee us, look at us intently everyday.

Jesus is our King:
He is our King that overcomes our weaknesses
He is our King that sympathizes in our weaknesses
He is our King who gave us the true blessing. The true blessing of Christian character.
He is our King who have authority over our physical bodies. God can heal us without human intervention or even raise the dead to life. Nothing is impossible for Him.
He is our King that has power over death.
He is our King who invites us to rest in Him.
He is the King who walks on water.
He is our King who reaches out the rejected. When we draw near to Him He will never cast us out
He is the King that seeks the lost.
He is our forgiving King.
He is the King that gave His life for the forgiveness of our sins.
He is the King that controls the course of time.
He is our King who feeds our needs and touches our pain
He is our King that gives us authority over the power of darkness.
He is our King that never leaves us nor forsake us.

We are the children of the King, the enemy is afraid of us. However affliction can happen to us often because of our own stubbornness. Unless for trials, affliction comes to us out of our own stubbornness. But God always welcomes us to restore us and purify us. God has freed us from the shackles of satan, we are truly free. Satan has no legal rights in our lives.
Remember the first disciples were panicking because they focus on giant waves, while Jesus sleeps on their boat. But they never sunk. Our lives will never sink for God lives in us. The wind and the waves obeyed and bow down at the authority of Jesus Christ. Our king will calm the storms of our lives.

And this Kingdom has a mission: Reach out the lost, make disciples, make community of believers- closeness- communion. Teaching them to obey Christ. Our loyalty must be to Christ Jesus alone. How the kingdom of God works and grow in us is like a mustard seed, it starts so small. He uses seed to show us that the Word dug deep into our hearts first so we will be firm and unshakable, stable. Then as we remain in Christ, hide His word in our hearts and we will never see that God will ever abandon us. The Kingdom living is not about status nor power. In the world standing beside a high authority makes you powerful and important. But in the Kingdom of God, standing closely to God will develop unto you humility, meekness, gentleness, faithfulness, merciful, and integrity. When we have this character proves that we truly belong to the Kingdom of God.

As we do this work and walk in this life, we must not be afraid. Whatever is coming or current events we have God is reigning in our lives. In all institutions that Christ's establish will continue long after us. Why? Because it belongs to the King, Jesus Christ. We are not dependent on ourselves or on the world economy and stability and economy but dependent in heaven's economy. The economy of heaven is dependent on God who never changes. Do not be afraid, blessed who is king is Jesus Christ. If Christ is in us His supremacy dwells in us. Our God is the living God.

John 14:17

[17] He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Minsan, sa buhay natin, maraming bagay ang hindi natin naiintindihan. May mga decisions na mahirap piliin, may mga situations na nakakalito, at may mga pagkakataong hindi natin alam kung saan tayo pupunta. But Jesus reminds us that we are not alone. The presence of the Holy Spirit is within us.

The Holy Spirit ang gabay natin sa katotohanan. Hindi lang Siya presence na nararamdaman natin sa worship. He is the One who teaches, convicts, guides, and reminds us of God's Word.

Sabi sa verse, “The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him.” The world may not understand the work of the Holy Spirit, but as believers, we know Him because He lives with us and is in us.

Kaya sa bawat decision, huwag tayong puro sariling wisdom. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Sa bawat temptation, ask Him for strength. Sa bawat confusion, seek His direction. At sa bawat season ng buhay, trust His leading.

Hindi natin kailangan malaman ang lahat basta alam natin kung sino ang gumagabay sa atin.

The Holy Spirit leads us into truth, because God doesn't want us to walk blindly. He wants us to walk with Him.
